Álfr growled and bit at him again, not as hard this time though, confused as to why he wasn’t attacking her.

Uhtred ran along the riverbank, finding a good spot to cross, until he caught a familiar scent, one that he knew wasn’t supposed to be there.

Ted grawled in defense, but still refused to bite Álfr back. He tried to make himself sound like he was going to bite her, even though he wasn't.

Blazer bit down hard on Ted's back. He shook his head as soon as he had a good grip.

Becky went to the river's bank and crossed. "Uhtred! What's going on?" She asked quickly.

Álfr continued snapping at him.. but eventually slowed to a halt when he refused to bite her. She sat down and cocked her head.

Uhtred shook his head, “I’m not sure,” he said, but then cocked his head, “Why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to stay with your pack still?”

Nutmeg yipped loudly when Baxter bit her side a little. She backed up away from her brother, and laid down on the ground. She started to lick where Baxter barely bit her. She was all done playing now.

Baxter slowly got up again. "Sorry." He said quietly. "I didn't mean to hurt you."

Khali dropped the now dead hen and jumped onto the Tom's back. She had to bite at its neck a few times to kill it. Once it finally stopped flailing, she picked up the Tom and the hen and dropped them next to Caiden.

Caiden watched his mate with amazement. "How- you-" In fact, he was lost for words. He stepped back away from the turkeys where Khali had sat them down. Even though they were dead, he was still a little scared of them now.

Ted contuied to refuse to bit Álfr. But as soon as she sat down, he instantly spun around on Blazer and sunk his jaws into his neck. With shocking strength, he swung Blazer to one side and slammed him down. All the while, Ted didn't loose his grip.

Blazer was absolutely stunned by Ted's sudden shocking movements. He laid where Ted had slammed him down and gasped for air. Ted was holding his throat too tight, plus the wind had been knocked out of him when Ted slammed him down.

Grayson got up and walked over to Alexander quietly. "What are you doing?" Grayson whispered in his ear, as if not to wake him.

Alexander jumped startled. He hadn't noticed Grayson nearby. "I'm, I'm, nothing." He replied embarrassed. His pride somehow left along with his new dream.

Ted escaped from Álfr's grasp. He stood strong with his head down still ready to fight. He stared at Álfr's eyes, but was looking to fight with Blazer if Blazer should come at him again.

Blazer slowly got up as he slowly regained his breath.

Uhtred rushed forward and stopped in front of her, “You need to get home,” he said firmly, blocking her view of anything with his body

"Nah." Becky replied holding herself Alphalike. She went to one side with hopes to pass by Uhtred.
