Kattrice jumped out of bed at the sound of another person. She grabbed a baseball bat she stole from a convenient store when she has 6 as she rushed to the door. She raised the base ball bat high as she got prepared to swing and as she looked down she said "Awwww!" And dropped the bat. She pet the cat and said "We'll aren't you a pretty kitty!" (The cabin has no door btw)
 
katrice looked deep into the cats eyes and then picked it up. "It's cold outside, come in!" Katrice grabbed a pillow, put it on the ground and set the cat down on it. She took one of her shirts that she had Ina heaping pile in the corner of her bedroom and used it as a blanket for the cat. She took out one of the cans of cat food they feed to Oscar and tore it wide open. She filled a little tea cup with water and set it next to the food I. Front of the bed. She pat the cat then climbed into her own bed and swiftly fell asleep.
 
Katrice smiled at the thought of homing the adorable cat as she awoke. She yawned and stretched her arms wide as she stepped out of bed. Jason knocked on the wall and walked in. He said "Hey, hurry breakfast is almost ready slowpoke." Katrice said "Yeah yeah haha!" Oscar strode out if his room in his melanistic jaguar form and sat silently waiting for the food. Jason tapped his head with a rolled up paper and said "How many times do I have to tell you! NO animal forms at the table!" Oscar shifted back and moaned as he sat into a seat, which broke out from under him. Katrice saw the whole thing and laughed as she picked up the cat and carried it to the kitchen. Katrice said "This little curious guy walked by our cabin last night so I let him in." I grabbed a can of the cat food and tore it open with her hand and set it down for the cat. Oscar grabbed himself one and got eating. Katrice munched on some berries as she sat down in a chair.

Why do they want to hunt/test shifters?:(if not in history) Money is powerful.
