So today I called Cackle Hatchery and I ordered my chicks!!!!!!!!!!!!
And ohhhh my gosh they are the most nicest, politest, friendly people EVER!!!The guy is like hi how are you and he says what kind of birds can I get you hun? They were just so friendly
Anyway so first I ordered 5 buff orpington, 5 brahmas, 5 silkies and 1 brahma roo. But he said you have to get at leat 15 silkies for warmth purposes. Which I guess I knew, I read that on the website. But I thought they meant 15 chicks total, they really mean't 15 silkies total. But that's okay.
Then I asked if I could get 5 delaware pullets in place of the silkies. But they were all sold of the delawares. So I ended up getting 10 buff orpingtons, 5 brahmas and 1 brahma roo.
He said the ship date is June 16. It seems soooooooo far awwwwayyy!! But it's okay I'll just have to garden and ride the horses more all may!! But then afterwards I'm thinking hmmm does that mean they ship them out of the hatchery June 16 or they arrive at the post office June 16?!?! It means there shipped out June 16 right? But (back to th call) then I gave him the credit card number. But right after I gave him the number on the front of the card he said his computer was shutting down and not working. He said he wanted the number on the back of the card as well. So he said he would call back, but he never did. So I guess I'll call back tommorow.
But YAYYYYYY! I am soooo excited! But I was relly nervous when I called, I still am nervous for the chicks!!!!!!!!!!!!
