The baby chicks are crazy!

We referred to ours as the Hellions. It's Ma Nature's way of making sure you get the little boogers into a coop & run in a timely fashion. Once you do, they're out of your hair, and being in the Big Outside takes a bit of steam out of 'em! Kind of like teenagers...

I have six kids ranging in age from 9 to 28. I used to hear that often when they were younger. One of my friends who has 7 kids shared a great comeback for that particular comment: "Full hands and full heart!"

I think that it also applies to me and my chicken babies!

I've got 4 kids -5,4,2,1 and my answer to those who say "your hands are full" is holding my empty hands up saying "Nope I got pockets". I would recommend chickens to all families.
