"I've seen a lot." Orb muttered.

Mork stomped a hoof. Theored handed what he had been holding to Mork. Mork winced and jerked his head over at Theored. He held it in his hand and watched the video.

"He said the enemy was worse than shadows."

"Not possible... The only thing more frightening to me than a shadow would be if I turned against myself." Mork whispered.

Ruby shrugged, "you asked for it." She turned the video on and fast forwarded to the part where the incident happened. Dusk's ship was attacked by ships marked as The Tytonic Union of Pure Ones, and dozens of Tyto Strigidaes boarded his ship. They tortured him, ripping his wing off. He barely managed to get back to Tyto.

"Looks like you called it Mork." Theored looked down cast.

"The Prince was right." Orb mumbled. "Those are the same ships that attacked us." He spoke louder. "Admiral Mork holds what I was able to transmit through a droid before they blocked the signal."

"Video?" Ruby asked.

"Very short video." Mork handed it to her. "Along with data readouts."

"I have the voice on my Comp in the ship. They hit us with a data wipeout.... fortunately it was after I shut the speeder down." Orb informed. He saw a down feather float in front of him. He swatted at it. And looked over, raising a brow at Nyra.

"Wasn't me." Nyra said, watching as Ruby put the chip inside the computer.

"Just checking." He actually smiled.

Theored felt heavy hearted. "Admiral I have a confession... at the request of Price Zepher we administered a test of your finest warriors. For good reasons. You are formidable fighter of great skill. We needed to test your hearts. Though that are good they are easily corrupted and once corrupt the darkness conquers... there is no greater enemy to a species than one that knows all its weaknesses and strengths... your own."

"What are you saying?"

(Please don't break the alliance D: I had plans...)

She looked down at the unfinished Skylix. "Another one of your fathers messes.... but I can't finish it without you. I taught you how to create but you were not made with what it takes.... " She side. "So as an act of faith and a gift I will bestow something to you now. It is something that can only be given and not taken... this means that no one can separate us again." She held her hand out.
I hold the four basic elements within me.... I am going to give you two of them..... this way neither my mother or anyone else can separate us..... and we cannot make or create without each other. Neither can you father take it... and you assed the first part of your test by confirming your rejection of him...... I personally think fire looks good on you." She smiled shyly.

Quote: "We are warning you, for your own sakes... and with the evidence of this video it proves our conclusions. We only searched this out to know you better. We take precautions with any species that is not made of light. Your first problem is your lack of humor, you have no lightness of heart, nothing to counter heaviness. Love can suffice but you can also turn love into its counterpart... lust. Finally you are easily vengeful. It was no accident that our two Generals acted the way they did, it was by design. Gylfie passed until she chose Martin as a way to get back at two distinguished and out ranking officers... and Martin failed miserably." Theored sighed. "I do not expect you to understand our ways, but we have been charged to protecting against evil.... that's why there are so few of us."

Mork clutched what was in his hand. "Failure comes with a price.... we have seen it in one of our own species and possibly in another."
