Loki licked at the little cat and opened his jaws wide.  He was just waiting for the Okay from Valhalla.  He so wanted to just eat her.

"Go ahead," Valhalla smirked, knowing what Loki was thinking. "You can eat the dog too."

There was a sudden blaze of light and an Angel Blade flashed over Sandie's shoulder and buried itself in Loki's chest. Kisu slashed at Valhalla with her sword as Tosk pushed Loki away from Sandie.

Illy was sitting quietly with his eyes closed, not asleep but just resting, while he waited for the Captain to start the ship.

Callabine glanced back at Illykran and, seeing that his eyes were closed, took a moment to look at the object that Anubis had slipped into her palm. It was a small Angel blade with a chain through the hilt so she could wear it around her neck. She slipped the chain over her head and looked at the name etched on the sheath. Gabriel. She smiled, then tucked it under her shirt and started the ship.

"This was Fejorn's idea you know?" Illykran sighed.  "He refused to let me object."

"I know. I  wasn't given a choice in the matter either. But I needed to go to Centauria anyway."

Illykran pulled out some strategy maps and started looking at them.  "So I found out that you were with the council..."  Illykran had a pretty good guess as to why, because there weren't many reasons that they'd be convening over a foreigner.

"I was," Callabine said, seeing no point in denying it.

There was a sudden blaze of light and an Angel Blade flashed over Sandie's shoulder and buried itself in Loki's chest. Kisu slashed at Valhalla with her sword as Tosk pushed Loki away from Sandie.

Valhalla smashed his hoof into the blade, deflecting the blow. He only grunted as a splinter of light went into his body.

"Thank you. It is good to see you again, although I know that I do not look the same."  She smiled at Crut.  "Here."  She touched his nose with her left pointing finger.  "You have been receiving help I see, I give you a turn off switch.  Something that you still need to figure out bat can control better.  Take good care of the child, and I am happy for you old friend."


Crut smiled and glanced back at the ship where Leyal had been waiting. "Thank you. Child?  I don't see Leyal as a child."


Celestia giggled. "Go before more ships decide to show up."


Crut left.  Then Celestia turned to Mordihm.  "And to think he is a grumpy Terrellian.  You should meet the others."  She nuzzled his shoulder. "If you are uncomfortable going there I understand... I will go alone.  But I need to see her(Anora), and I need to have a 'talk' with my mother."

Mordihm pulled away. Why did she always have to bring up such things at the worst times? He wasn't about to leave her though. "No, it's okay, I'll go with you."

She lifted up his hood a little.  "Is there something that you want to do before having to listen to my mother?  We haven't had any time to just be together.  I think we are being ignored right now."  She smiled. She did want to just hide with him somewhere forever.  But Valhalla was on a  path of destruction so that he alone would rule everything and whatever survived.  So she had to try and defeat him.  And that time was fast coming.

She should have mentioned that before. His mind was on Anora and Manex now, plus he didn't want any other Terrellian interruptions. "No. Let's go."

Loki yelped and shuttered, snarling with his teeth.  He melted into the ground to avoid being killed.

(He kind of should be dead, seeing as the blades are made to kill shadows...)

"I hope that you find joy with your decision." He started marking things on his data maps. He was becoming engulfed in his work. "Ykrus said he had a nice 'chat' with you. What do you think of my son?"

Kisu stabbed at him again, this time slicing open his shoulder. She dashed around him and cut Collia's bonds, tossing her over one shoulder. She raced back out of the room, grabbing Sandie and dragging her along. Tosk snatched the Angel blade from the floor and raced after Kisu. She grabbed his paw with her Sandie-free hand and teleported them back to their ship.
