He got right in her face leaning over her. "Keep thinking that if you like.... your fate is not my choosing. I am only building you up... yes you are useful.. do I care what you do later.. no. I already told you as long as you stay out of my way and do not work against me, we will be on good terms.." He smelled her hair again then stood back up. He left the room and shared in the slamming of it shut. "Ungrateful blasted females.... the heck with the lot of them." He kept mumbling angrily having to leave or loose his temper.

She just laid on the bed. Soon she would have to get ready to head back to the court..

It was a pleasant walk and the wild flowers were at their peak. Gentle warm breezes blew on occasion. Finally they reached the city entrance.

"The place is a veranda about four bocks down... I used to dine with Vellora on occasion there. When Nark was in town." He smiled actullay looking relaxed and not so wound tight as when he had been pushing himself so hard.
