Ykran then pranced behind her and with a finger took swipe or a soft cake and stuck it in his mouth.




Elanore whipped around. "You!"  She swung the pie server, and he yipped as he leapt away.  She swiped of topping and soft shies on his haunches as he made a break for it laughing.  "If I get my hands on you boy!"




He stayed well out of range. 




Hellaina now fell to her side laughing.




"Can't catch me with those stubby legs Auntie Ellanore."  He teased. 




"Oh that's it!"  She was smiling now unable to keep a strait face, but bolted for him anyhow.  He was not about to take it and took off.

Festus started laughing too, and continued watching the chase.

A few other onlookers joined in the entertainment laughing at the sight.



Ykran glanced back "Oh crap!"



Ellanore a farmers housewife or not was gaining on him. 



Ykan's problem was he was laughing too hard.  He madea turn and doubled back grabbing a beverage ladle and then slide stopping turned.  ."On guard!"  He coughed a bit then chuckled while out of breath.



She had also turned and the stopped taking the challenge.  She tried to give him a ticked off serious look but then lost it before even swinging. "Okay cream but you get to help clean up."  She chuckled then walked past him.



Ykran threw his hands up. "But I won zee race."  He coughed a little more.



Hellaina was clenching her side.  "SO much for stubby legs eh boy?"  She laughed.



He pointed a comical you own me finger at her then he too a defiant swipe of another.  Only he know Ellanore was not paying attention this time.

Hellaina finally stopped and laid there catching her breath.  "Oh that boy... saved us a proper scolding he did... "  She chuckled.  "We used to have fun riling her up."  She shifted her head to look at Festus them smiled.  "Do I need to get the recipes for those?"

“I think you should. Sneaking them from a Centaurian housewife is dangerous business.”

She snickered.  "OKay."  She got up then noticed Silver and went to talk to her.  Later she came back not as happy as she had been when she left by far.   "Well I think we should head back if you are ready.  I will ask  Ellanore to send me the recipes tomorrow."  She bent down and kissed his cheek.

He looked totally confused now at her reaction but went along with it."Yes, I'm ready." He got up and scanned the area for Calliope.

"Finish your plate. I will go tell Maurice." He walked off.

Menetack flipped out of his seat and twisted midair swords drawn and swinging. He tossed one to Eros.

She turned around. "I will fetch you the herbs for tea that grow here. It will help fix that." She caught his eyes.

He opened fire managing to take out one ship as he maneuvered out of their attempts. They were firing disabling weapons. Menetack eyed the computer still trying to locate the routes. Take the wrong one and you could fly through a planet or star and that'd be the end of it.

She took the sword, and swung at the nearest one, A Sati, who barely jumped out of being sliced. it was clear that she had training in such weapons.


The other Sati, a female, went to help the male Sati, trying ot corner Eros away from Menetack.

She was surprise at the movement, but put her blocks up to protect him. But some thought did past by, like oh, her birthday being tomorrow....
