Faint murmurs could be heard in the cockpit area, Riku and Nakiso were talking about something. It was clear that they were flying through space, as the interstellar driver deep in the engine gave off a low "whirr" sound.

Si'ralle was just watching from an open glass window. There was nothing to see, but she wasn't just looking. She was thinking about Riku, and how he'd saved her earlier. She was thinking about Kostos. Hoping he was alive. She untied the eyepatch and removed it for the first time since they'd discovered the mark. Her hair fell gracefully over it, and she realized how amazing it was to see with both eyes again. But she quickly tied it back on, deeming it dangerous to take it off since she didn't know what it symbolized.

Riku sat back in his seat, deep in thought. Why did he feel an attachment with Si'ralle? It seemed very strange to him. He had crushes on other Lunar Cats before... but something seemed different about Si'ralle. (

Soon they arrived at the planet Calix-2. Nakiso, Boron, and Riku walked to the descending pad.

The heat and humidity almost instantly hit them. They were teleported near a canyon; Riku leaned over and looked down into it. It looked like it was either a river at some point or had suffered from years of wind erosion. Though, judging by the extreme heat, any sane person would have agreed with the latter. They began to walk, and it didn't take long until Boron and Riku started complaining.

"Why is it so hot here?" Boron muttered.

"You think you have it bad," Riku said, "I have a several inch thick coat for the freezing cold, the exact opposite of this place."
