She lurched as the doctor touched her horse ribs, but she kept a hold of Nyghta.

"Easy.... He cracked a few, you will be fine just no running or heavy lifting few a few weeks." He put a healing device in her to start the bone stitching for her body. "This will help it go more quickly."


The nurse came back in. "They got him... um... well they found his ship, he had 2 mares. They are being taken back to Centauria... in fact Grabex is sending all mares back. They want to investigate and ensure its safe for them before any can come back." The nurse who was a Kohl informed. She eyed Nyghta with a bit of fright then typed in 'you killed him' and showed the message to Nyghta so Sorrell could not see it. "They said they are investigating all people possibly involved since the culprit is.. unable to speak.... at the moment."

"Wait.. sending us back.. but... my job is supposed to open up again soon or transfer me to Interpole!?"

"They said Centauria. The other colonies have lost a lot of mares too... they are considering doing the same."

"But.............." She squeezed Nyghta with her hand. She shook her head no. "Can I be alone with him please...."

They both nodded then walked out.

"Shiga? Aren't those dark Ohu or something?" He had been so involved in infringement that he had been slow on the updates from Terrellia.

Destiny giggled.

Emma laughed, following him.

Nyghta blinked a bit at the message. He hadn't intended to kill the stallion; he just wanted to scare him off and give him a few scars to remind him to stay away.

"Yeah," Bree said, "they're so annoying." She chuckled a bit as she added, "when I mind-melded them, they were so excited to go hang out at the prison. What a laugh!"

Illykran chuckled with a huge grin. "Oh I love you my little love bug." He buried his face into her belly and made funny noise.

Lengend had pulled himself up and was hanging on the pen, he started playfully squealing.

Devon took her things and tossed them in the craft he had parked in a nearby grove the night before. He also tossed his sack in. Then he hopped inside and started it up. "Should be a pleasant 35 minute trip."

The corpse was examined and what had happened is the stallion had a suicide tooth, to avoid a talepath from getting the knowledge in his head about the new abduction system they were using. He would have only used it if he had been caught and imprisoned. Nyghta had cracked it.

Once they were alone Sorrell squeezed harder on his arm. "They can't make me go back to Centauria... I won't ever get to see you!" She cried a bit. "This has been the worst week in my entire life... except for you. I was nearly blown to bits, all my precious work gone, my books, my new friends gone, Beat up and nearly kidnapped, and now they are taking me away from my job and you...." She was choking on her words. "I have been nothing but a pain for you too... I am just doing everything wrong, I am too stupid. I am so sorry."

"Mind-melded? Are you a contact telepath or something?" Orb asked.

Fyra laughed. Legend and Destiny played through the bars of their crib. They were about 6 months old now.

Emma grinned.

"No, you have not. I love you, you are not stupid, and you have nothing to apologize for." He kissed her cheek gently.

"No," Bree blinked. "It's a new Ohu technology. Small tool; makes whoever you use it on real loopy."
"SO much for going back to sleep." Illy laughed at the loud noises they were making. He went to make Fyra breakfast.

Soon they arrived at the cottage on the shore. It was actually on a dock and had sea trees growing up around the front of it, a prefect open view of the sunset from the back of it. "I love this place." He took in a deep breath then inhaled with a smile.

Her soft lightly freckled cheeks glistened with streaming tears. "But I might not ever see you again." She whispered. Her chest huffing up and down quickly as she was panting into a cry. "Do you think if we.... Oh am a silly to even think it... they wouldn't care."

"Oh.. I have been out of the new gadget loop for a while. I am involved with a job.. that honestly is making me want to bust out and go get these mares myself. But Rukes.. heck one wrong move and they can tear me to shreds. My co-workers say that's the hardest part of the job, they all feel the same way."

The pups started making little growls as the slowly tackled each other, tumbling around. "Can you outrun me?" Asked Rein, eyeing him closely.

Star sighed and piled them up, placing them back where they were. She giggled as they growled.
"I could if I used a spell... ans a moonshine, yes, but not you.. You have light energy fueling you. Nor do you have the weight I do, I have more gravity force on me than you do."

"If you married me in the future.. they might let you back. But... when and where would we do he wedding for one, and two, what if they don't honor it. Where would we go? And in the mean time how will I even get to see you... this whole thing is... one big mess.... "

"Yes. The King offered Sir Illykran help. I was chosen. And believe me.. I would rather be doing this work. Though it is stressful." He sighed. "I don't see how that stallion has managed as long as he has and still is so calm and kind."

Rein finally felt something inside that's been locked away for years. Her fur began to gleam brilliantly and vividly. A immense smile appeared, she finally felt love and joy again. Her powerful light and love that unwrapped increased her speed ever more.

Fine then," Connor spat back, turning to go hunt for her. "You better not have done anything with her," he shot over his shoulder as he headed away. He checked Sam's tent first. "Knowing that prick, she's probably in here," he muttered. "Jesslyn, get over here."
Sam found Corsicka and gave him the spiel. Corsicka was talking to Sampson at the time. "Kraken would be ticked enough to make sure Connor can't challenge for your herd. But I wouldn't put it past him not to cap you and take them that way."

"I know... I have an idea. But.. bloody sheet sweet and timid, an easy mare to get to behave. He's just kill her you know it." Sam growled, glancing at Sampson.

"You better go back to your tet, I will handle it. But it is his business as far as the mare goes. Shy-vy. that's another story. Unless he mates her and manages to put her in foal, Kraken will yank her from him. You sure you want me to call Kraken?"

Sam huffed. "I will say no.. I love Rickie, but he didn't say that I couldn't talk to you.. you do what you wish with the information." Sam winked. Then went back towards his tent. He saw Rickie. "Hey... why don't you walk with me.. I don't trust you alone right now." He took the clean laundry from her.

Jesslyn heard his voice and nearly panicked. She slapped her hands over her mouth to suppress a cry of fright, freezing in her tracks.

Connor barged through Sam's tent. "Jesslyn, get over here! I'm gonna find you at some point!" He stopped; as Memeruk had a scent for mares, he started walking towards where she was. "Don't try to hide.

Jesslyn's heart raced. She was in a complete state of panic now, gasping for breath and frantically looking for a place to get out. She felt faint as she ran to the back of the tent, hoping for a back door. No luck. Seeing no other way out than go through Connor, she did just that. Barreling at him, she attempted to catch him off guard and muscle her way past. Then, just as her shoulder hit his, she realized that was a stupid idea.

Kaleika filled her bowl with peach ice cream then added nuts and caramel. She sat down, smiling at Myrna and Melanie. Jasmine caught it, looking at the fruit. "Yummy." She said, biting into the fruit.
Myrna saw Barret lurking. "Do you know that guy? I saw him the other day." She pointed to him.

Mellanie saw him. "No.. handsome face though." She elbowed Myrna.

"SO are all the others that stroll in and are taken." She snorted. "Plus I have made up my mind."

"About what?" Malanie raised a brow.

"I am going to go take a trip to Quilla to find me a husband."

Malanie nearly spit out her ice cream. "Now wait a minute, you know I am not too keen on us crossing with them, despite what the research says about them being our pure sister species. You need to keep looking for a Terrellian."

Myrna rolled her eyes, then brushed it off.

Harris smiled as he bit into his. "You know they never warn colts about the last few years of maturity, we grow like weeds and eat constantly. I feel like a pig." He snorted.
Kaliska turned in her seat to look at who Melanie was talking about. Instantly she turned back to them. "Oh gosh.." she growled, letting her hair cover the sides of her face. "I do not like that guy." she muttered, rolling her eyes.
