Kaliska tried to hold her laughter in, but it resulted in a pig-like snort. "I'm sorry Brenk." She appogized, giggling.

"Just water for me. Thank you." Barrett thanked her, nodding.

Just then, Jasmine came in.


"Papa? We ran out of something I was making for dinner. Can I go to town to get it?" She asked, suddenly seeing both stallions expressions. She didn't really want to ask what was going on.

Brenk smirked. "I am ... not doing that again."

"She was s good sport about it."  Myrna added.

"So was her husband."  Melanie chimed in. 

Brenk just face palmed again.  "Mmmf"

Myrna got him water and handed him glass.  Then she got one for herself and chugged it as she had been thirsty since right after she got stuck in the door.  "Well at least you never got a dress stuck in a locked door."  She mentioned with a smirk.  Then she thought a moment.  "Barrett?  I am sorry for being to foreward with you at the icecream bar.  I admit, I was just distracting you so Kaliska could leave... you see my brother has a hard time finding a woman willing to be with him.  I did not want that to happen.  Can you forgive me?"  She confessed.

Ferris released his clenched jaw and allowed himself to calm around Jasmine.  He then looked like the normal Ferris. Kind yet a little withdrawn.

"I can finish here if you want to take her sir."  Ferris offered.

Kaliska only laughed, and hugged him. Then she uncoiled her arms around him and took a sip of water. 
[rule]Barrett put a hand on the back of his head. "Yeah... I know..." he put his hands up as if dismissing it. "I'm sorry for being gruff with you.." he said sheepishly, drinking his water. 
[rule]Braxton hesitated. He trusted Ferris, but then again he had only just met him that morning. Jasmine seemed to trust him, but how long had she known him before? He rubbed his chin, "You sure Ferris? 'Cause you could take her to town if you wanted.." he grunted. Jasmine eyed her father suspiciously. 

Brenk chuckled then and gave her a kiss on the cheek.  Though he still had a darker shade about him.  Desert was next.  The bride and groom got the first piece of the rose cake.

"I accept your apology."  She smiled.  "Well.. it was a rough meeting but all seems well now, and I am glad that you heave found the pace to peace again."  She rested a hand on his upper arm, her green eyes soft and smiling.  "So I take it you live here in the village?"

Ferris wanted to be alone but maybe a walk would do him good. "Alright I will take her."  He nodded.  His tones much calmer in his voice.  "Is there anything else you need picked up while we are there?"

Kaliska beamed, her whole body seemed to be filled with joy.

Barrett gazed happily into Myrna's eyes. "Yep... Just me." He said, nodding.

Jasmine shook her head. "Wait, I wasn't asking if anyone could take me...." She trailed off, a pleading look in her green eyes. "I was asking if I could go by myself."
Braxton's face turned red. "Jasmine! You know never to go out alone! There are-" he stopped himself, putting a hand on his forehead. "Ferris, please take her." He said, and began slowly walking out of the barn.

Jasmine stood quietly in the corner, her cheeks red with embarrassment. She nodded at Ferris, and then looked at the floor.

It was a long time of silence for Rein.

Barabus eventually went to chat with Sky. "Did you see what happened? I am not sure of how strong your guardian powers are or not.. so I must inquire."

Kaliska looked up at him excitedly, and nodded. "Yeah!" she whispered back, smiling.
"I wasn't planning to.... but I might." Barrett shrugged, looking away. "I don't know..."
Jasmine stood quietly in the corner, her cheeks red with embarrassment. She nodded at Ferris, and then looked at the floor.
Brenk smiled then stood up. "My family it has been an honor, and you have my deepest thanks. It is time for us to find our new home." He nodded. Everyone else rose and then they said their good byes. Brenk took Kaliska's hand. "Lets go to the dwelling manager." He kissed the back of her hand and then drew her close to his side.

Ferris went over to the water bucket and washed up rel quick then threw his other shirt back on and rolled up the sleeves. "Okay, let's go." He waked over to her.
Kaliska smiled, then looked up at Brenk. "Let's go." she said eagerly, squeezing him.
"Oh, of course. Let me know if you need anything." he said, getting up. "I probably should get going." he shrugged, then hugged her. "Thanks for the drink of water."
"K." Jasmine mumbled, and walked out. They walked in silence until they got to the road, then she asked, "Ferris... what did he mean by 'there are'..?" she looked at him, a puzzled look on her face.

It's very little but I will."  He summoned it having gotten what he needed from it anyhow.  He placed a device on the rag he had used to wipe up her blood and then the few drops fell in to a small gash he made  in her arm.  He had to be quick for the healing power was still at work and would close it. He also wiped what he could from his fur and then did the same. "'That's all I got."

"That should be enough." She mentioned.

"Don't ever pull a stunt like that again.  You of all should know to exercise restraint.. you foolish... Could have killed Nightshade and nearly did yourself.  Not to mention those were high spells I had to use.. you could have undid all that.. ad destroyed irreplaceable relics... I am very angry."  He growled"

"Yes but she was almost to the full potential of her extent. Do you know how big that would of been to see! An oracle finally using its power so strong!" She smiled.

"No she is incomplete here and unstable.. you would have sent her back for who knows how long...  and that power would have been the end of you.  Do you wish to die?" 

Nightshade glanced at him, "no i just like exciting moments.." she replied. "I could of gotten out of the way."
