Nostros choked on his own saliva.  His good hearing could not have mistaken what he had just heard.  "You...."  He shuddered.  "You love what foul creature that defiled my wife to cause us pain?  Who altered my son while he was yet in the womb?  Who.........."  He had to stop.  He passed a glance at Rambo. 

Rein fell into a deep sleep, listening to conversations.


Sky ate another Berry.

"Okay will do." She smiled, smuggling more nearer. "I will wait." She promised.

Rambo looked back and shrugged.

Barabus did something he had not done in over 50 years... he confided in Skita again.

Nostros felt disgusted. He in in league with the slave trade, having Kraken's men assist in taking innocent victims, he has no regard for others.. the Black magic is the embodiment of Shadow.  Since Valhalla's death, he no longer draws from it power. Those who used it have grown fierce strength from it. But if that blackness consumes him.. the wicked things he does now.. will seem charming in comparison."

Shera then decided he'd be gone a while longer and then started to give herself a full washing. She didn't savor the smell of dirt and sweat on herself... or bear.  She took  her shirt off to change into her other pathetic rag shirt so she could clean it too.

Barabus told me your sons head would arrive in a box... and after that.. if I didn't comply... you were next in 48 hours.  I cannot loose you.. so I told Valdan.. it was his idea. and he allowed me on that ship.  He had to make it look convincing.. I was frightened.. and it pains me to see you so upset.  Can't you please understand?  Can't you please forgive me... haven't I forgiven you freely as well.  Am I not carrying your son?"  She followed him but at a distance.

"Okay." He turned and headed out.

"Jug, Fuzz... come I need to get ready." She pried the babes hand from her hair then sat him next to Jug.  SHe then walked out making way for her room.

"I find them a bit annoying, and just unplayful... I am not a pretty color like many others either.  I might have a kling if I were pink or even blue.  The male Kohl my shade are no fun at all."

Lola had her hands full of folded blankets and couldn't see too well.  She walked right into Auran and almost dropped them.  She barely caught them before they hit the ground. "I am so sorry."  She gasped with wide eyes.  She backed away from him quite nervously.

Hellaina stayed behind looking for a place to go and cry.




Diva was still with Calliope in the tent.  She was giving her an advanced reading lesson.

Fuzz walked along on the opposite side of Jug.

Festus got out the jug of wine and took a drink, not caring what Helaina thought of it.

Mysterioin pawed at Jugs fur. Jug seemed to ignore the tugging and even picked him up by the shirt when he stumbled.  Mysterion would giggle when he did so.

"Well thank you... they just like bright things I guess. " She sighed then rolled over in her belly. "Agate... do Catopians ever cross?"  She asked curiously.

Lola then looked around and not seeing Jessup then smiled.  "Thank you.. you seem nice." She looked around again. "I should go before I get in trouble."    She stared at him a awhile then stared to continue on her way.

Diva got up. "I am going to go now."  She then left.



Calliope looked up at Festus and blinked her eyes. "Why is everyone acting so strange?  Are you okay?  Where is mamma I have not seen her since last night?"

Fuzz eyed him, wondering how having his fur being yanked didn't seem to be much of a bother.



"Sometimes. Why?"



He watched her leave, then continued walking to the tent.



"I'm fine....I don't know. She probably went off somewhere."

Mysterion grabbed an ear. "Eouch."  Jug cocked his head. 


"Mysterion no."  Kasha picked him up.


"No different then when my cups were little.. only they used their teeth, ofter pocking my nose with a claw or two." Jug smirked.

Shera was now washing her hair in the bucket and rang it out.  Then she grabbed the towel and started drying it.

Calliope didn't buy all this malarkie.  She then wen back to reading.

Soon the cleared the atmosphere and all settled out. (forgot his name already ). The stallion entered Jump getting them out of there.

Skita was not happy about much of it, but just listened. Enjoying the fact that Barabus was being a husband to her.

He is no longer King over Centauria. The rightful bloodline is now again in control."

Nostros was in headquarters, going over something with Torid.  "Yes well.. as if it wasn;t complicated enough." Nostros rubbed his forehead.  Then he felt strangely odd and in pain.  He blinked looking down.  "Soething is hurting my wife.  He and Kasha, because of their  special life link, could fell if the other were in pain.  Just like when Barabus had her in his clutches, and Nakia him.    He made way for the door at that moment.  As he opened it he saw Fuzz coming down the hall.  "What is going on!?"

"Well because I am tired of waiting..." She sighed. "The only time we love is when we get to raise a kling... kinda... well I am kinda getting impatient about it.  Oh well it's just silly I guess."

Shera didn't find it funny.  She just sat there uncomfortable, holding onto what little she had left.  Clutching the towel.  "You food is in the warmer."  She informed.  "And I brought your case back."

Helliana then once she knew he was gone, started crying.  Her stomach collicing again. Something she had been fighting since they found the head.  "Lolli..I need  you to prep lunch and dinner, please.  Keep it simple."

"She... Um... Is acting weird?" Fuzz had no idea why she wanted Nostros.

"Thank you." He didn't noticed the tear next to the tent flap, neither did he take his eyes off of her, as he calmly approached and kissed her.

Festus didn't go far, just randomly walked around camp, except for avoiding Valdan's tent. For the first time, he regretted taking her off Centauria. None of this would have happened if he had just left the sword to Valdan. He had it now anyway, and Festus was probably better off for it.
