Rein was startled for a bit, until she realized it was Barabus. She glanced at him, "ok." She smiled. Rein drained the tub, and leaped out. She snatched a towl and dried herself off.

"Well that's very strange." He panicked a bit."also creepy." He addes.

"Really? Sounds fun." He barked in excitement."what's the moon festival?"

"I have a thing that helps me.. but I have to fight it and risk it killing me to recharge my abilities... I just used it, and it makes me angry."  It was very clear in his eyes.  "As long as you don't freak out on me, I know you can calm me down.  Skita would suffer and Nighshade's aura would stimulate me into a worse state.  You are so dang......"  He grunted looking at her.  "Mmmmm.  I need to lay down."  He rubbed his head, his muscles bulging and his coat slick.  He walked over tot he bed and lay to rest on it.

"The moons align once a year, and the Vulna emerge from the depths.  They are balls of light that dance and sing... the turn red when danger is near, and always watch over our children.  They fade away just before the new ones come."  She explained.  "For 24 hours we feast, dance, and make merriment with music. Oh by the way our days are 40 hours long. It will take getting used to."  She nodded.

Rein turned and noticed the stress and pouted. As he walked to the bed, she wondered what he was going to say. She walked over and layyed next to him on the bed, with a smile.

Rein thought, "I guess it was because I was stressed and not thinking." She sighed.

Fuzz drank the last of his milk then got distracted by a butterfly outside the restaurant window.

Kasha and Jug finished. "Well, time to head back."  She got up and rubbed her belly.

Shera narrowed her eyes and pursed her lips.  Then she just stayed curled up with her back to him.  She felt like she had been hit by a large cargo crate full of heavy goods, but she stayed quiet.

"Wait out here mare."  Valdan stated then went into the tent.  "Derick's missing."

Fuzz washed his paws clean and jumped down.

Agate slowly let go.

"....And?" Festus wasn't in the mood for being surprised.

Kasha strolled along with Nostros' pastries in a sack for him. 



Jug saw another canine an stopped and glared a while.

Seraleena sighed and smiled.  She did enjoy the hug.   "Was is really that bad?"

Shera eventually got very stiff.. She found is extremely hard to get up to check the food.  But she forced it.  Rubbing her neck.  She wanted to slip something into Connors food supply to get back at him.. but she'd risk it going to the mare too.  She kapt giving angry glances at Auran.

Fuzz was very tempted to join Jug in glaring at the canine, but stuck to his job protecting the queen.

After he work up and noticed her glares then finally gave up. "Okay, okay. Sheesh....After lunch, though!" (Or is it dinner?)

Jug figured the dog was ignoring the queen then caught up to her again.

She sighed in relief, then scooped out the food then slowly and stiffly walked over to him and handed him his bowl.  Then she stood and waited instead of sitting, since she was too sore.

"Hmmm this is annoying... you aren't going back to a bad habit are you?"  He inquired about the alcohol.  He was fine with the occasional , but not so frequent that Festus was useless.

Fuzz walked him come back. "Had any trouble with it?"

Jesslyn got to her feet, then walked out of the tent. Her eyes on the ground, walking quickly, but calmly. A few minutes later she was at the river, and stood there looking at it.

"I'm Barabus's helper." She replied.

Nightshade got curious and stepped on the other side of Rose, "so what's the sister?" She asked.

Nightshade steps in front of her, "what? Why her she's not even Amberheart!" She shouted.


Rose glared at her, "she's more Amberheart then you!" She snapped.


Nightshade flings her hands skyward, "she's 78% mermaid!" She informed in a paniced tone.


Rose shook her head, "so...she at least says she's Amberheart." She informed, in a calm tone.

Barabus grumbled then appeared outside the door and knocked.  Then he entered.  "I am back.. I trust your highness has found the food satisfactory."  Barabus stated politely and gave a single nod.

Rose Turner and glared at Barabus full of anger, but hide it well, "yes it was good." She smiled.
