" Thelma only knew what happened because being on Torid's team they  were briefed on all matters, using such information to protect their people.

Festus memorized the lefts and rights of the directions. "Lets go."

They found a nice sheltered alcove in a brick wall. It seemed to be part of the decor of that area, but would serve well as a resting place.

Talon reached the spot where she had been hiding, then ran with it as he had done earlier.

They fired a heavy disabler at the shuttle hitting it directly. It pierced through the light shielding with ease.










"Unidentified Ruke vessel this is RE1.. are you defecting over?"  The patrol came in cloaked.

Calliope nodded and went with him. They arrived.  A midwife was there.  She was nervous with the new infastructure but she did speak to Festus. "You may go in. The Doctor it trying to untangle the foal." 









The medic was working had to Keep Hellaina down despite the relaxant. They did have to be careful about what they gave her. She was screaming from the pain.  The Doc working quickly. 









"Festus help hold your wife down.. We are inducing labor.. I almost got him untangled." The doctor strained  to speak.

The Rabbit snuggled in with them.

She climbed up a tree and waited.

"Yes." He held on to the panel as the ship shook, then looked back at Shera.

Festus did as he was told and held her down... for the second time.

They quickly fell asleep.

Hypertix and Tapska made preparations to take off the next day, as the ship was in need of repair and maintenance.

He ran past the tree but then came back and looked up at her. *growl*(playfully of course)

Shera was frightened. but was quiet.








"Roger that.. head for our border if you got any juice left, another ship will tow you in.. we got this space trash for you."  Suddenly 4 of Valdan's ships declaoked right on top of Krakens and started a fire fight. They intended to either destroy them or bring them in.








"I don't regret wanting to leave one bit.. this is very odd. I man you a bloody hunter and I  am nothing spectacular.. what is with them!?"She finally chirped.

Hellaina just grabbed Festus and squeezed tight from the pain.  She cried into his arm.








The doc backed out.  "We may not need to operate."  he held his arm.  "You almost broke me mare." He grunted.  Then he turned up then meds.  "They are identical twins.. that's why bother were suffering. They were intertwined together... and if she would have carried any longer she'd not be able to get them out." He had a heavy scottish accent about him. "You'd have lost all three of them by tomorrow if you hadn't have called when you did."  He made over to the sink and the midwife came in.

She smiled down at him. "Oh I look like dinner huh? Come and get me big boy." She had a sassy playful look in her eyes.... prepared to jump down once he started climbing.

Auran lost it at that moment and getting distracted by her comment, started laughing. The ship jolted to the side once before he regained concentration. "I have no idea...No idea at all." He said with a chuckle.

She disembarked, followed by several other cats carrying equipment to the consulate. (Yes, but carrying so many cats taxes the ship far more than humans would)

  "We were just attacked and your laughing?" She huffed. "Oh you..  you should have left the nts  back at camp instead of packing them." She played on his comment abot the other rukes that he made earlier.

The labor was hard and she managed to get the smaller of the foals out. He was a brawny colt. Buckskin rose paint with blonde hair and blue eyes.  The one that had been strangled was failing in his vitals but was o his way out. Hellaina had almost no energy to get him out and the dock had to pull as the midwife wasn't strong enough to do it. Once they got the colt out and ruched him  away as he wasn't breathing... Hellaina passed out.

Shera was a bit impressed that they weren't living in tents.

Calliope frowned. She looked at Festus but was also silent. About 30 minutes later the other colt was brought out. The midwife smiled. "He seems to be doing great now.. he just needed some oxygen. " This colt was a few inches bigger than his brother..  Calliope took him.
