She ate quickly and hungrily.

Shera followed him. "Strange... at least he is kind.. I like him better than Kraken already... " She wasn't sure if she should approach family yet  or not.

She closed her eyes again. "I feel..... so weak."

Seraleena then looked around until she saw a tree with food in it.

He continued eating, taking occasional glances at her.

"Thank Glaux."  She sighed.  The reached the supply closet and she was issued cold weather gear.  She started putting it on. Then she actually smiled. "I feel like a marshmallow. It's all puffy."

She was out again.


Calliope shed a few tears.

"I am glad."  He nibbled at her cheek then rubbed along her side and purred.  He came back around and licked her face.

She fetched her fruit then came back over and leaning against his belly ate her findings.

He chuckled. "You won't mind so much once we get to the cool weather."

"Yes, they do have good food here." A kitten agreed, finishing his cream and pawing a bit of it off his nose and whiskers.

He calmly washed his paws and muzzle

"Well I do know that I don't like the cold."  Shera smirked.  She followed him back to the ship. "Thank you Auran.. for listening to me about leaving. I do appreciate it.. even before we knew why."  She kissed his lips then took a seat.

.......... 28 hours later.  Two very fussy foals kept them awake most of the night.  Diva came and helped, she and Calliope took them out of the room so that Festus could rest and be alone with his wife. Hellaina seemed to be the same.  She hadn't opened her eyes since the first night, nor uttered another word.

"I could get used to this place.. though I do miss the smell of dirt in my den." He sighed.

Jug yawned and stretched his striking spotted pelt out on the large bed pillow.

"Would you like a piece of this fruit?"  Seraleena offered.

He set the ship to take off and head for the given addresses.

He watched her for a few minutes then started to doze off....

*blink* "The garden has plenty of dirt to sniff."

Theazle's eye flashed open, and she looked around, not moving.
