Only way we could disable the nullifier would be to go to the headquarters and manually turn it off, and even then we'd only be able to override it for a few seconds.
Krits muted the com for a few seconds. "It is almost dark... their head quarters is at sunset."

"And if Nakiso is is a favorite target and they know he's there... they may do it early." Nostros huffed. "We should have used the Valectica then we could get them with a tractor beam."

"Maybe I can talk to Nakiso's head, tell him what we just discussed." Krits closed it eyes and went back to rubbing his temples.

"Does that hurt?"

"Shh... very much."

Nostros turned the com back on, "Sir I am 300 years old and have fought many battles, if I ever had the information that I do now I would have begged for it. You will die if you reach headquarters, we cannot loose the female Terrellian that you have on board, you would be responsible for..." The transmission was cut off for some reason.

"I have him." Krits whispered

Shandrak smiled and whispered in his ear. "Then you have even more in common with your friend Nostros." She pulled him back into a corner out of the crew earshot. "Nostros doesn't give up easily, he must have good reason to weigh these measures... I am sure he told you about our friend Tracker. Tracker has mentioned that the Master of All is a creature of darkness and has this thing for night. Headquarters is at sunset.... I don't think we have enough time. You could disable the Nullifier.... only knowing Nostros he's teleport the entire crew, and if he did we'd have to make sure our angry allies don't attack him." She held up her palm to show Nakiso the amulet and it started to spark a little, then she nodded at Crut. His muscles were massive especially for a Terrellian. "We are guardians of life, this is part of our destiny of Corbain." She put her palm back down. "If I die my race dies... I can explain it to you later unless you've heard of our secret legend before... I can't let them take me to headquarters for the sake of desperate pride..... will you help me friend?"
Shandrak waited for a reply then noticed that Captain Nakiso became momentarity destracted. "What is it?"

Nakiso hesitated, but eventually nodded slowly. "Yes, I will help you. But I cannot stay with you. I swore to do this when the Battian Empire joined the Galactic Alliance, even if it costs me my life."

Jiro looked at the com, wondering why it was suddenly cut off. He jerked the Falcon sideways as an anti-matter missile nearly hit him.

She pulled out a chip from behind her necklace, it glowed yellow. "Even if it means loosing this?" She handed it to him. We may have found a way to effect their shield, but it will take time... if you die then it may cost the galaxy." She paused. "To do what? Sacrifice your life so carelessly? What is left of much of your Empire has taken refuge behind our borders, we now protect them. We are building a fleet for the alliance. You are one of the few with the information needed to succeed." She pointed at the piece in his hand.

"Sacrifice my life for the billions of innocent Gingercats on this planet." He replied.

Nostros played with the control panel but the buttons were not responding. "What's going on?"

"It looks like there's a jamming signal that the mother ship is putting out," Merinos answered.

Krits came out of his trance. "I just did it. I both told Nakiso what I heard and was able to show him the visions of what I saw. He now knows what we are up against." Krits squinted his eyes. "They are starting up the weapon."

"Well that's what's jamming all communications." Merinos huffed.

"OK- if those nullifiers go down then teleport the whole crew... they can pitch a fit all they like, and I'll gladly take them where they want to go, except the planet surface." Nostros kept close on Toriks tail.

All of the Drex fighters and warships began to leave the atmosphere.
