Nostros faced his friend Nakiso. "Interesting huh?" He smiled. "I am willing to journey with you if you ask of me."

Nakiso smiled, "yes indeed. I would much appreciate it, things are only going to get tougher from here on out. This war has evolved into something much bigger than any of us expected. Your help will be vital."

Tison began to try to link the computers to the shuttle's.

Crut pulled out some cables and fed them to Tison, "Watch the live feed, your body will not take lightly to its shock."

Merinos sat waiting for the link to establish, when the all the lights in the ship began to fluctuate. "What the?"

"It's me." Shandrak's voice came from behind the crowd between her and Merinos.

"Warn me next time Ma'am." Merinos watched as the bulkheads began to grown metallic like threads in the corners increasing the integrity of the hull. Vien-like substances reconnected cable links that had been fried. "Whaaa... That's never happened before?"

"She's never recharged a ship before." Krits stood from his seat and backed away from the walls. The others smelled of nervousness. The ship began to creak and moan as it morphed.

Kyro stopped his ship in front of the strange Kishu-Drex ship. He glanced at the com button, thinking about hailing it when an anti-matter missile slammed into the side of it. The shields blew instantly, and even they weren't enough to defend the engines from the blow. The engines caught fire, and an alarm began beeping, signalling that the ship had reached critical damage. Kyro's eyes widened. The missile had hit right along where the engines were; whoever was piloting the Kishu-Drex ship knew how to fight well. A Gingercat voice came onto the speakers.

Alert: Systems reached critical damage. Evacuation highly suggested.

Kyro slammed his fist into the board out of fear. He began to back away when he saw a faint light forming beside him; someone was teleporting into his ship.

Kyro backed away as the creature appeared right before him. The creature was a Kishu, as he partially expected, but she had several cybernetic implants in her back, along her left arm, and a chip on the side of her head.

"W-who are you?!" He asked fearfully, backing away. The Kishu cyborg followed Kyro, gaining on him and looking like she wanted to kill him.

"Who am I?" She snarled, "why should I tell you? You're just a typical Gingercat that acts like they're all that, then when someone confronts them they run off! Coward!"

"I am not a coward!" Kyro said back, looking behind him to make sure he didn't back into anything.

"Yeah right," the Kishu laughed. "I'm Naika."

Nostros chuckled then shifted his attention as the ship began to morph.

Tison's brow furrowed, with a hint of curiousity in his eyes, "that's how Terrellians recharge their ships?" He asked.

Crut pushed Tison's hand away from a cable that began to grow as it grabbed onto the connector. Crut sighed in relief. "That could have gone through your hand." He motioned Tison to stand back. "Only when we need to- we have other ways... but this isn't supposed to happen. Shandrak is... special. I'm not sure whats going on- just don't touch anything that changes on its own."

Tison stepped back, "alright." His brow remained furrowed, but the curiousity left his eyes.
