"You know if she had that wand she probably would be a match for him? Without it he could use her against us- by strengthening his forces. If she did face him and won- she could die.... it would mean that my people would eventually cease to exist, sacrificing ourselves so that the rest of the galaxy could move on. Is it selfish not to want to risk that?"
