"You've been the source of my problems all this time," Valhalla growled, "its time for you to go." He smashed his hooves into the roof of the building Shandrak and Condor were standing on, leaving the building in shambles instantly.
The Condor spread his wings and then he flew down in front of Valhalla. The cracks grew back together where they landed.

"I did everything you asked of me." She snapped. "You should have taken care of me when I was with Manex! You are on dangerous ground on Terellia, and the Hunter is coming as well. If he takes me out you can't trap me." She threw out one of the few cards she had to stall for time.

Above the planet one of the moons shifted at incredible speed.

She jumped off The Condor. "Time for you to go."

"I won't do it!" He shouted.

"You have no choice." She threw up her hand and teleported him to Krits and the baby.

She stood there before the giant shadow.

"Ha, I'm not Manex. I can withstand life-giving energy," Valhalla smirked. "I am the one true Shadow. If you think you can kill me, think again." He turned around and jabbed his back hoof at her chest.

She dropped to the ground and rolled to avoid it. "I know that!" She huffed. "You apparently don't realize where you are." She knew that she had to get on his back to avoid being struck, but that would mean that he could take her. "Did I not take the ones that you wanted to get rid of? Did I not give you everything you asked? did I not humble myself to you? I even helped you with her. Had I known they locked you up, I would have done something to keep the peace. You are cunning, think you that I am a fool too? I have been trapped in mortality and tortured by repeated death, and the last time I couldn't get back, because I suspect you shut the way."

(It's the last book in the Artemis Fowl series.)
"Hand-to-hand, then." She leaned the bamboo rod against the fence and faced Illykran.
"My favorite." He smiled. I'll be nice for a little while. Her anger will make her strong, but she doesn't have my experience.

"Of course I did," Valhalla hissed, "it wouldn't take someone with an IQ of freezing point to figure that out."

"You're pathetic jabs don't effect me Valhalla." She hissed at him. "My mistake was falling in love with Mordihm." She almost regretted admitting it, but at this point it didn't matter anymore.
"What is it you want? To collapse the dimensions like your fool apprentice? I thought you had bigger plans?"

Soon the Phoenix emerged but instead of coming to Shandrak's aid they selected key positions around Terrellia. Then second moon shifted. The Hunter had arrived.

Quote: "Then you're a fool," Callabine said. "Chivalry won't save your life." She stood calmly, with no indication that she was ready to fight. Suddenly she leaped forward and punched Illykran hard in the shoulder, leaping back out of reach almost as soon as her fist made contact. She appeared to be completely calm and acted as though nothing had happened.
