A few faint murmurs could be heard outside the door.

"Are we sure we can't save him?"

She only listened, sobbing.

Suddenly something appeared to have entered her room. The door slid open, though no one was walking by it.

Her breath caught in her throat, not hearing it above her own crying.

"Si'ralle..." Riku's voice echoed through her ears like church bells.

Si'ralle forced herself to shut up, although the tears kept cascading. "R-R..." She didn't finish.

"Si'ralle." He said, his voice not as echoey (that's the best way I can describe it lol) as before. A striped paw held her shoulder and turned her to the left, where Riku was standing beside her. (Silver Fang reference, couldn't resist. Off topic but why did Jerome have to die? )

Startled, she looked up, not trusting herself to figure out if he was alive or not. She moved one paw to his, which was still on her shoulder.

His body was somewhat cloudy, and gave off a strange aura. "I love you." He whispered, smiling as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.

She knew. It hit her in his kiss. Even in knowing, she whispered back: "I love you."
