Si'ralle gasped for air, hardly being able to hang on. With one more painful strike in her lungs, her EKG flatlined and she went still...

Riku slowly began to stir.

(Sure)

 

[TechnoCat]

A doctor ran up to another. "Good news and bad news. Riku's alive, but Si'ralle Clarksman's organs... have attacked themselves and she's flatlining."

 

[OwlLover]

The other doctor, who had been treating Riku, cursed under his breath. "Get her to the ER." He ran to get an IV.

 

[TechnoCat]

He raced off.

 

[OwlLover]

Riku's eyes fluttered open. He saw Si'ralle flatlining beside him. "No," he whispered, tears immediately welling up in his eyes. (ignore this part if she's not beside him right now)

A nurse pushed him roughly aside, putting Si'ralle on a gurney and pushing her to the ER.
