"Is that really what you want?" Mordihm shapeshifted into a large and threatening fire ant.

"I don't really care, honestly. I'm not looking for a fight with either of you."

"You don't really expect us to die without fighting? Tsk tsk tsk, such arrogance."

Manex chuckled, "you jump to conclusions too much, Mordihm. I'm not going to try to kill you. I'm on your side after what Valhalla did to me."

OOOOOOOO

Collia groaned as she awoke, feeling sick and woozy. She had been drugged after she had been knocked out. Strange black glowing tendrils held her down on a cold metal ground, the pressure alone making her feel as if something was impaling her. Oh Glaux, what the hagsmire happened... She blinked as she saw a shadowy figure staring at her. "Who's there?" She managed to push out.

The form of Saroya, grinning evilly, stepped out. "Surely you know me better than that, sister," Saroya spat the word "sister" out as if it was poison. Her voice had changed in some way, spiked with an intensity that only a truly evil creature could have.

"Saroya..." Collia's eyes were distant, and unfocused, not able to believe what she saw in front of her. Suddenly, Saroya's form began to shift into the form of a huge Great Horned owl with white glowing eyes. Collia's breath caught in her throat. "S-Senkah...?! Valhalla's love?!"

As soon as Collia had recovered from seeing that it was Senkah, not Saroya, something inside her clicked. She broke the shattering spell. She was herself again.

Senkah grinned evilly, "yep!" She turned around to call into the darkness behind her. "Oh Vally! We got her!"

The form of a shadow horse came out and stood beside Senkah, grinning at Collia just like Senkah was. "Excellent, love." He gave Senkah a nudge on the neck, a sign of affection among shadows. He turned back to Collia, "well, dearest."

Collia's eyes suddenly turned to fire. "Don't you dare call me dearest!" Her voice quaked with unimaginable anger and fury. Valhalla just smirked.

"You gonna stop me?" He placed a hoof on her chin. Collia grit her teeth in pain, a muffled sound of pain escaping her lips. "I like that fire in your eyes, dearest." Collia snarled when he said "dearest," but Valhalla didn't stop. "Senkah was right about you. You are exactly what we need to defeat baby Mordihm and his little lovey-dovey Celestia." He gave her a light pat on the head with a hoof.

Collia spat at it, "don't touch me!" Senkah and Valhalla roared with laughter.

Senkah looked at Valhalla, "y'know, Val, this is the most fun we had since we first had Mordihm!"

Valhalla grinned, "I know! We finally get to have a daughter, at last."

Collia suddenly exploded, "I AM NOT YOUR DAUGHTER AND NEVER WILL BE! SPRINK ON YOU!"

Valhalla and Senkah grew silent for a moment. "Well, we'll just have to fix that, won't we, dearest?" Senkah touched Collia's chin with her wing. Collia made another small sound of pain. "Vally dear, would you mind taking over for a little while?"

"Of course, Sen," Valhalla gave Senkah a genuine smile, before he placed his hooves over Collia's head. Suddenly, Collia was hit with overwhelming dizziness, and blacked out.

"I don't remember the exact words, but he wishes that he had died in a fight or something." Callabine remembered perfectly well what Illykran had said, but she didn't want her relationship with Druin to become common knowledge.
"Oh... I think you misunderstood him. Its not a death wish, he just welcomes it when it faces him. He told me its because he feels like he's been left behind, and is ready to go home when the ship comes to take him. He wouldn't just let himself die, and he hates fighting. Only does it when he has too. Like I said he needs to go home and be left alone." Ykrus sratched his head just like Illly does. "By the way he refuses to say anything... who beat him up? It takes a lot to best him."
"It was an accident," Callabine said. "But I most certainly did not misunderstand him. He made it very clear that he wished he was dead."
Ykrus was pretty intuitive and wasn't buying the accident bit, but if neither She, his father, or Gump was willing to confess what really happened he wasn't going to push it. He also knew his dad well enough to know that he was not suicidal. "I'll talk to him." He nodded. "The King is waiting." He gave her a salute then left towards the training center.

Celestia came out of her daze and looked over at them. "Manex can't kill me Mordihm, thought he was convinced that he did earlier." She was referring to the stabbing. "If vengeance is all you seek Manex I cannot accept your help, for vengeance on its own is the way of evil. Valhalla merely cast you out for screwing up, he won't hold onto loose ends. Unless you finally remember what evil he committed against the other shadow, including you."

"No, I do not seek vengeance. I only wish to save everything from Valhalla."

Quote: If Celestia could have turned any whiter she would have. "Mordihm he speaks the truth, he was under Valhalla's control before. We need Manex... he is Valhalla's successor now." She looked at Manex now. "But, Manex you will not have the same strength of power as Valhalla, if you did you would eventually become as corrupt as he is now.... no, you will rule the void and restore the shadows balance... with your daughter. She will complete the power needed to channel the dead, and help keep you from becoming corrupt. Even though she is the reason for his death, she is not the one who kills him. There is a point, that once Valhalla discovers her, he will try to kill her; she is vulnerable."

"Why do you keep trying to convince me that all my enemies are actually friends?"
