Leyal had forgotten to take off her necklace, and dozed off. She slightly whimpered as if having another nightmare.

Hallaina fumed more upset hearing about that than Festus's lack of being able to handle a confession. (She was pushing things as it is.... *grumbles* )

He stayed outside for awhile as he was much rustier in swordplay than fighting with daggers or paw-to-paw combat.

Helliana cleaned up then went to find him. "Tie to go if you ant to speak with Chance. We can stay at Ellanore's again or here... you choose but you sleep on the couch until she knows... no more close calls... and I have to get you clearance today at training for your district transfer." Hellaina sighed, trying to stay calm.

"Very well." He put his hand on her waist and then the black cloud returned again taking them back to the library. "Practice that puzzle I put in your room. It will help your speed." He fingered her chin again.
