Festus knew he needed to break this mood, and fast, before she talked him out of it. "I would never do anything to hurt you... What you regret is up to you..." His mind raced, thinking over what she just said, hoping she would back off on this a bit...

She sighed and gave him another kiss before lowering herself.  "Illykran made me an offer."

"What about?"

"He offered to give us a house to live in, here... where its not so uptight...  told me I should sell mine and keep the money."  She folded her arms indecisive.  "Said I had to ask you first before making up my mind."

"It's much nicer here, but I don't see how It would be any help if you intend to..... go into hiding later on."

"Well Illy owns the town.. it's like... renting.. I can still go when we need to.. and will have more in my pocket...  I need to talk to Orb and find out when."  She sat back down having been reminded of Barabus.

"Fine with me, but are you sure you want to sell it?"

"No... but it... I lived there for 40 years.... but the town doesn't feel like home to me.... so cold and distant.... That and I never go in his old office." She sighed. "I want to look at the 4 places here.. if any are like it maybe it will be okay.. and Lolli likes being with the family.. she trusts them all." She sighed. "I have the inheritance already... maybe I should just rent the place out instead."
