Why? What's wrong?
He shook his head. "Nothing is wrong. It was very beautiful." He smiled at her. You have me confused is what... I say that savored of Siren and I know it wasn't in your file... I pray that's is not the case. It would be tragic right now if you were. "It almost sounded enchanted."

Hellaina kept glancing over at Calliope. Ykran was actually doing the one on one with her because she wouldn't do it with Phillip. Hellaina then focused back on Festus and Ykrus. Her tail swishing on occasion. Illykran was watching but seemed distracted. "What is it my friend?"

Illy snapped out of a distant thought. "What? Oh... I told you about my woman troubles."

"Yes... but you look like you are star gazing not upset so much."

"I am upset.... I am falling back in love.... but something is telling me not to."

"WHy? You deserve to be happy as much as anyone?"

"Lainey... I have suspicions that she is a Siren. Off the books... but you know what that would mean." Illy was speaking quiet enough for no one else to hear.

"Fyra?" She puzzled. Well if she has managed to hide it so long... just keep hiding it." Helaina shrugged. "Have you asked her?"

"No...."

"You should be up front... and just let it happen . I remember when last you were with her, you were quite happy."

Illykran made no more comments on the matter and just went back to watching the 'fight'.

( )

Festus countered with the basic blocks and attacks, striking more aggressively if Peilg was slow in speeding up.

"Good you have done some instructing yourself I see...."  He chuckled picking up the pace a few levels.

Illy noted the time.  "Watch."  5...4..3...2..and."  He pointed and the door opened.  The white stallion trotted up towards them.  His black hair and blue eyes perfect as always... he took his garb off.  Then he winked at Hellaina.

Hellaina gave him a glare then went back to hanging over the rail.

The stallion  stood at the opening which Festus had his back turned.  Pelig saw him then he deflected Festus sword and backed out. "He's here."  He nodded behind Festus. Then he gave a bowing nod and walked to the edge of the arena.

Ykrus stood there with his arms folded.

(Perfect? Hah! :smack )

Why am I not surprised? "You're a trainer now?" -.^

(ha ha ha)

Ykrus sighed. "I am old enough to have it well under my belt Festus.  A General trains his men...  I haven't been siting behind a bloody desk until just after first we met anyhow."  He picked up a handful of dirt and dusted his hands. "I agreed to do this... which won't be often with my schedule."  He pulled out his kings sword, which looked a lot like Illykran's white Flame blades.  "Besides we both know you can't stand me... it should be easy for you to try harder."  He twirled his sword around so it made noise in the air.

You've got that right! Festus sidestepped around Ykrus, waiting for an attack, avoiding getting distracted by the twirling of the sword and watching his movements as a whole.

"The sorcerer will intimidate you.. he will recognize the sword right away.. so he will use distraction first and foremost."  Pelig tossed a chip to Ykrus, and Ykrus slapped it on his shoulder.  The sword began to sing.  "This is the last hair that Lainey saved and turned in.  Just so we can simulate the sensation. No it wont aim for my heart or nothing."  He kept swinging his sword around then he lunged for Festus, with a lower swipe.

Almost a pity. Festus blocked it with his sword, stepping to the side once more, and slashing at Ykrus' arm in the same move but missing due to the sword's odd vibration.

Valdan decided to keep certain families in the bunkers while others moved back into camp. They needed their supplies before he's risk them all to the weather. Sutra and himself stayed in the bunker. Valdan had been keeping an eye on Finnick, he as also staying in the bunker with his herd. Finnick appeared to be acting normal, no snooping around or anything. Eventually he just had Pelephore help him keep track of the stallion.

Ykrus smirked. "I am giving you time to get used to the sensation. Then you will get used to a blade like Barabus uses. It is designed to disarm... which he must never do. You drop that sword and he will cast a spell on you." Ykrus threw several angled shots at him. "Next session we will work on your speed. He is not slow and his size will crush you... but you must learn not to resist the swords will." Ykrus jumped several feet to the right and the sword almost pulled, like a compass pointing north.
