Festus went over to him. "Are you going to answer or do I have to beat it out of you?" >.>
"Good. you have permission to break ground." She passed the map for the site they could build on. "I would also like a few extra reliable security guards.. this way Fuzz and Jug can have more time off if they need it." She smiled.

She found a large tree and scurried up it. She was out of breath.

She did not say anything else. She just sat there waiting for the food to cook before she intended to get up again.

"I did answer.. that would be a no." He wiped some blood that was dipping in his eyes. "I told you what my purpose was here.. to do as I was told when told to do it... and I did... I have nothing else."


"What about a the collony locations of the other branch?" Valdan glared at him.


Derick stayed silent.

"Few? How many exactly?" Hypertix looked over the map.

He didn't either, but eventually got up getting ready to go out once again.

Festus continued walloping the stallion until he decided to talk, being careful not to kill him or prevent him from talking. >.> "Four... if that is acceptable. Their families of course will be welcome to accompany them." Shed nodded.

She was still panting but looked down at him and smiled. She could fly away, but felt that would be cheating the poor cat. "You know handsome... I don't see that hunters look in your eyes.. you are too tame." She winked at him.

She looked up at him then got to her feet. "Will I even get a good bye this time?" She asked quietly.

Hellaina had motioned for Valdan to let her out, she did not want to watch this or be a part of it any longer.

Valdan unlocked the door and she exited. She walked down the hallway and Finnick was there. "Hellaina.. I heard.. is that A****** talking?"

Hellaina looked up at him with discuss. "Scram you are not permitted to speak to me... and no he'd rather die for what he loves. Unlike others." She then made her way topside.

"Freak! I only know 4... no one knows more than that but the leaders." He had blood dripping from his mouth and nose. Derick coughed quite a bit.

"Then give me their locations." Valdan sat a chart down in front of Derick, and he did comply.

"Now kill me... I don't want to find out what happens to my family." Derick shoved the chart away from him.

"One last thing... who else here is working for Kraken or my father?" Valdan inquired.

"That you won't get.. some of them have just as much at stake as I do. I do have a shred of honor in me to my own kind" He coughed again.

Valdan looked at Festus. "The choice is yours... mercy or not. I need to go question the other two." He then walked out. "I'll see what I can do."

"Why should you? I'll be back around dinnertime, hopefully."

"Yes. I am sure..... but you haven't actually caught your prey yet." She winked then leaped down from the tree and ran again.

Shera just turned her back to him biting her tongue then started re-washing a dish.

Derick lay there suffering and alone.


After everyone left Finnick walked toward Derick's hold.

Hellaina was topside waiting. She was stading in some bushed with her eyes closed, trying to calm herself internally.

Myrna's face quickly spread to a grin. "You really want to go with me?" Her underlying tones of excitement were quite obvious.

Ferris then marked the corners and went and started picking out which logs looked good for posts. He did not complain once and pushed through the work. He started digging holes for the posts after laying them where they should go. He had them all in in a few hours. Sweat running down his back ad forehead. He then went to the barn to wash up and take a break. (Ok! I'll be here, off and on.

)

Kaliska chuckled, shooing him with her hands. "Well then you better get a move on." She chuckled, and put the flowers into the vases. Barrett smiled. "Yes, I do want you to go with me." He said, holding the flowers out to her. Braxton pulled straps over his shoulders (horse) attached to a long blade that lay vertical on the sun warmed dirt. Then with a grunt of effort, he began to drag the 'scraper' over the vacant feild, gathering the dark soil.
Brenk took his shirt off and tossed it over her head, then darted while laughing.

She smiled with gleaming eyes as she took the flower. "Thank you Barrett." Her eyes grew a bit glossy, but she allowed no tears to well. "Please come in." She moved back pawing at her dress so that he could come in the door.

Ferris went back and started tying the cross rails on. He glanced down he field at Braxton. He almost had a look of pity on his face, then he tied the last rail he had with him and walked to to talk to the stallion.
Kaliska laughed, straightening the cushions on the couch. She then sat down, and began to read a book.

Barrett nodded, smiling happily. He stepped inside, his smile growing. "You look very nice." he said.

Braxton had sweat pouring down his grimacing face. He stopped pulling, and went to gather the soil. Upon turning, he saw Ferris. His face softened, "Good job on the pen." he wheezed.

"You must be special to have a companion Moby young one."  He smiled back at the girl, then blinked thinking he was seeing things in her eyes.

Isabella glanced at Saharia then at the Guy, "I guess so." She beamed a smile, petting the Moby. She felt a strange mist from her Aurora, but focused on him.

Sky watch Barabus leave then at Rein, "me and Barabus blood pact...that means he has control over me and you." Sky mentioned.

Shera after he left started letting out her frustration by talking to herself. "This would be sooo much easier if I could just hate him!" She growled. "No you have to be a with a bloody handsome Ruke... that may be tolerable, but doesn't really care... I feel like I am walking on a fence with him.. One side is easy to hate.. and the other side.. well let's face it that's not going to happen.. He said it himself." She angrily smacked the spoon on the side of the pot to get the food off it. "Nope, just fce it Shera.. you life is empty from here on out."

Derick looked up at him. "Just do what you are here to do." He growled.

"Hellaina says you didn't talk."

"Believe what you like. It doesn't matter I know what you are here to do.... what do they have on you anyhow?"

"My real son.. The others... may be wives and house mares but none of those foals are mine. He took my boy long before the split. When I get close to them giving him back and cutting me free....."

"They change the arrangement.. yes how convenient. It took me forever to get Challant to love me... the foal in fact... then they rip her away... and only a small handful of us are going through this.. the rest are pure loyalists." He snorted.

"I can try and see that they are with a good stallion... I know a few back there." Finnick sighed.

"Don't make empty promises please..." Derick struggled to get to his feet then did so.

Finnick walked over to him with a dagger. Derick closed his eyes. *slice* Finnick cut the bonds. "I am getting you out of here... this is now an extraction.. not an execution." Finnick tagged him. "Run like hell." He then teleported him to the shipyards.
