~The Battle of the Empires~ A RP

"Okay well I am hungry. I will be right back."  She headed out  she opened her mouth to catch some drops  along the way.  She made it to the counter. "I hear we have more food now.. Can I get some fruit?"



"The new rations are set for tomorrow dearie. Unless you are in foal you need to wait."  The cook informed.



Shera frowned and nodded.  "Oh.. okay."



The cook pointed to a small path. "Barry bushed are down there, they near been picked clean, but you might be lucky."



"Okay I will go check. Thank you."  Shera trodded up the path and found the bushes. She kept walking and looking for berries, but only green ones were left. Soon she was well soaked through and getting cold. Her stomach rumbled and she decided it best to head back.

"Okay.. do you like it?"  She asked.

The rabbit was passed out. but the 'scary mean' rabbit was out nibbling in the underbrush.

"Tell me, what is wrong with males?"  She shrugged obviously frustrated.

Auran stayed in the tent, not going much.

"Yes." He finished it and set the bowl aside.

They eyed her from the branches.

Shera came back empty handed, wet, and cold.  She checked the stew then went to the corner and took her soaked clothes off.

"Good. You will love these doughnuts." She put powdered sugar over them then brought the plate over.

She just poked around ans munched minding her own business.

"Well my males are useless. cant get one to start a family. I thought maybe a cat... but I don't even know where to start with one. I am close to a really handsome cat, but he is not interested at all that I can tell." She sighed. "sorry I am jut frustrated about it lately. How are you today?"

"Is it too sweet?" Hellaina asked.

But they might give enough tomorrow in the new rations. I was just hungry now...." She pulled a blanket over herself and lay down to warm up. "Auran..........."

Six months passed. Festus, Calliope, and Hellaina moved into the cabin. Hellaina had most of the stonework on the cabin finished. Thing seemed to pass by more smoothly for them. Festus had not yet told Mavatix or Calliope of his intentions. all the while Hellaina prayed he would change his mind. but aside from that she tried to make their life a happier one.

The bengals grew and were under strict training.

Festus' shed/shop was erected and Hellaina ignored any modifications he made to it.

Hellaina built a fortified chicken coop due to sturdy wildlife they had, then again most avoided the Bengals. And her garden plot was freshly tilled awaiting the end of winter.

The cities outer structure was almost completed and the second city on the other Moon was now in the works of being built. Planetary defenses had been fortified, and oddly an entire clan from Krakens group defected and chose Valdan as their Chieftain. they Settled just outside Mavatix's Clan to the east. Valdan was skeptical knowing they may be full of spies, but he refused to turn them down. 7,ooo Stallion count. not including their mares and foals.

Titus and Diva had their foal a month prior, he finally managed a filly. And promised her to Festus' unborn colt.


Sutra's time had come and passed to have her filly. She was late. Hellaina stood by waiting fort the message to help

Barabus was occupied by his many pan and new enemies arisen. He did not risk pulling anymore stallions for his efforts yet. His goals had shifted............ but he still had his silver eyes on certain targets.

Some of the vines moved from under their feet on their own.

"Well I have to meet one...." She sounded unsure. "DO you think.. I should ask my Leopard friend permission first? He dosn't seem interested, but we are close... I don't want him to get upset if I choose a Tiger then spend less time with him."

Shera felt stones in her heart. I knew I was chasing folly. "Then your answer is no..... I won't ask again then." She Adjusted so she was curled up in the corner and completely hid under the blanket and tried to cry as quietly as possible, but it could be heard.

Hellaina put the comm in her pocket then went back to the last pillar she was putting together. Her belly was huge and she found it getting hard to do certain things. He frosty breath puffed about her. and her nose was red from the cold. But she otherwise was quite well bundled. "Okay my hands are done.." She sighed. "I am ready for winter to be over with." She huffed then made her way to go inside. "How does hot cider sound to you dear?"

The birds grew quiet deeper in the darker areas.

"Because we spend a lot of time together... and we would end up spending less. I don't want to hurt his feelings.. I care about them." She sighed. "Well maybe you can recommend a tiger still. I will just tell Agate when I see him today that it might happen."

He lowly brought the ring to his mouth and sucked on it. He started coughing.

"That one tear shall heal all your wounds and. Drive away your fears. Let it heal your heart, mind, and soul, so you can be whole." She continued.

"That is really neat."  He stroked the bunny then closed his eyes and tried to make it younger.

Harpy tripped, but squealed and rose up. She began to dart away.

Iila saw him as they approached.  Her heart sank knowing for certain she was as the point of no return.  She looked right at him hidding her fear.

The stallion took his colt and thanked Lana.

"Are you sure you will be okay with him.. I mean you just got back... you need some time to grieve sir." Lana was concerned.

"I just need to hold him....... " He walked out with his colt.

Lana started crying feeling terrible for him.


The stallion carried his foal he had never met before and walked towards town. He found a shady spot and let the foal toddle along in the grass. The he started weeping about his wife.

Farris put a hand on Braxton's shoulder. "I am sorry to hear that...Braxton... that is unfortunate. Were they winter foals?"

Jesslyn looked up, paled, then looked down at her food. Emily smiled, but didn't say anything. Max just kept eating. P)
"You bet he will. ow babies.. know anything about them?" Melanie inquired.

"You are very handsome... I um I like you a lot." She had a dry lump in her throat and fumbled for a cup sticking it under the milk fountain in the center of the table.

Red cuddled with her slowly wagging his tail. "Lub you Jammy."

The stallion took out the bottle and snacks that Lana gave him after he had a good cry then he held his son and fed him. "You look like her... you really do." He kissed the colt.

Ferris felt rocks inside. "Where are your mares no Braxton?"

Thrain chewed on a roll as he read then he replied and put the comm back in his pocket. He noticed Jesslyn "You okay?
Kaliska blushed deeply. "A little... but only what Leandra taught me.." she shrugged.

Barrett smiled. "Thank you Myrna.." he said, his voice lower than usual, as his grateful emotions showed.

"Jasmine is the spitting image of her." he mentioned. Then blinked. "So anyways, when I decided to leave, I took her along. I didn't know she was in foal. She didn't tell me." he fell silent, and then the ranch house came into view.

Jesslyn nodded quickly. "Yes, of course." she said, then went back to eating. Max looked at Thrain and Jesslyn, then at Emily, and kept eating. Emily spread butter on her roll and then cleared her throat. "So, Jess, I plan to volunteer at the foster home.. and Thrain thinks it would be a good idea if you could help." she smiled, and looked at her granddaughter. "Would you like to?" she asked. Jesslyn looked up from her food at her grandmother, then at Thrain, and then down again. The idea didn't really thrill her. She shrugged and replied, "Sure, I guess so."
