Kaliska turned large, worried eyes on Brenk, and offered a small timid smile. She was obviously frightened.

Hannah held the chicks, then set them down gently in the crate. "Thanks."

Braxton looked a little uneasy. He ran a hand through his hair as he did when he was uncomfortable. "Well...." he didn't exactly know what to say, but in his head he knew he would be more comfortable in the barn.

"Tell them I'll help... just need to bandage these darn knees up." Chester grunted, and hobbled towards the kitchen.
"It's okay it is this way for most that are not healers and above." She informed. Just tae deep slow breaths and let the pain and pressure come.. yell if you have to."

Hours later, in a flurry of light, Brenk and Kaliska's son was born.

Barrett let out a girly squeak and cry for help, pretending to struggle to get away. "Oh get away from me you monster!" he wailed.

Hannah's smile faded slightly, but now she held the crate close to her.

Jesslyn went through, and trotted a little ways ahead. "Bet I could beat you there.." she taunted, giving a smile.

"Well you're the one who didn't ask for anything more." Jasmine retorted, sticking out her tongue. She then sighed and smiled at him. "I wonder how Bessie's doing.."

"Nothing, I just feel the need to sleep in the barn.. if that's okay with you." His hand slid down from his hair, and he offered a smile.

Chester groaned. "I'm fine Lexi.... somebody's got to do the chores, and honestly, I don't want to leave it to Blake and Casey. They've already helped a ton.."
Brenk Kept hod as the nurse maid wrapped the boy. "Not done yet you are doing awesome.. Brenk all you got there's one more." She Showed him to Kaliska and Brenk. "I need to lay him down for now."

Thrain got this playful look about him. then he bolted. "See you later." He laughed.

Lana sighed. "If you insist.. it's not like we aren't adults." She didn't get it herself. "My guards always stayed in the house. But it's up to you... do I make you uncomfortable Braxton?"

Kaliska wore an exhausted expression, but her eyes sparkled. About 10 minutes later, their daughter was born.

Barrett stopped, and smiled in her eyes. Then he kissed her lovingly, and then said. "Good enough?"

"Sounds good. These poor things are probably starved." Hannah looked at Noonan for a moment, then looked away.

"Hey!" Jesslyn's small, but sure hooves scrabbled on the dirt as she hurried to catch up. In seconds she was right alongside him, and grinned. Her red hair flew back in the wind.

Jasmine poked his arm. "Wanna share? I can ask for two bowls.. or cups.. whatever they give me." she smiled.

"No... no.. I was just... um... I need water.." Braxton quickly went out from the curtain and went down the hall again.

Chester was washing his hands, and raised a brow, glancing at her. "True.... but you are not doing my chores."

Brenk was tired to but he took his babies in his arms and remained next to Kaliska. "It''s amazing you are not passed out." He was extatic though.

Myrna grinned. "Oh yes...." She rolled off him. "Your turn."

"Yeah. He went to the bakery to buy meal." He got a large sack of mixed meal. "Okay. Should be good enough right?"

"Well look she has speed... on fire." He smiled. Then he leaned into it a tad more, letting her keep by his side though.

That knock out nurse was carrying Jazmine's soup. She walked by Braxton and gave him a flirtacious smile. letting her long tail brush against him as she walked by.

Lana wondered what was up with him. Either he wanted distance and he felt she was pushing him, or he was maybe afraid of something? She had no idea what it was about.

"Daddy.. honestly.. take 2 days off. I wish Ferris could help... I hope he and Jazzy are okay."
"I feel like I could.." Kaliska said weakly to him, and brushed a finger gently over the baby's faces. "Oh goodness..." she chuckled, and smiled.

"K," Barrett slunk off, but turned and gave her an intense, challenging look. "Watch your back Myrna..." he said in a creepy voice as he vanished to go count.

"I guess so." Hannah nodded. "I haven't had chicks since I was little."

Jesslyn's hooves thudded rhythmically on the dirt road as she ran, staying by Thrain's side. Soon she swerved to go up the foster home's path and grinned.

Jasmine watched her dad go, but also saw what the nurse was doing. Her green eyes narrowed.

Braxton's hide shuddered, and he quickly slipped out the door.

"I do too..." Chester muttered, sneaking out of answering her plea. "Ok, I'm just gonna go out and see how everyone is doing.... that alright?"

Iila heard he was close. "Come I can't teleport here. they have a strong nullifier." She darted down another alley they had a back gate to get though then exited the estate and lead into the city. She stopped and looked again. "Run fast.. We have to get through the gate."

He intended to smuggle her out once they left. "She needs a body guard for now."  He looked at Lyta. "Anyone can once they are free of device.. but its a risky life."
