Nostros' fleet comprized of 15 ships, they dropped out of Jump in a tight defensive formation. The Boishields fully charged along with their weapons deflectors. The Terrellian territory may be small but they packed one heck of a punch... especially in the defense of others.

Where's Riku and Si'ralle?" Nakiso asked, rubbing his head.

"Their teleport must have gotten cut short. No matter, we can't get them now. They're long into the nullifier's range." Akame said.

"But- wait- you don't understand!" Nakiso yelled. "We have to save them!"

"You don't appear to be the pilot of this ship," Kyro smirked.

Nakiso stared directly into Kyro's eyes. "You have no idea what we've been through. I have every reason to believe that my comrades are vital to the survival of this galaxy. The survival of this planet doesn't look like a likely outcome," he pointed at the fighting Drex and Gingercat ships from outside the cockpit window, "so why don't you do one last act of kindness?"

Riku looked at her, "why did you do that?!
Si'ralle let go of his wrist. "... Ever since I was young I was forever inable to leave anyone on my side, anyone who I knew was fighting for me or with me, behind. And plus, I can't go without my best friend."

(Is she talking about him or Kostos? XD Just curious :p)
Riku sighed, "thank you, Si'ralle. But you shouldn't be risking your life for me." The Battek passed through a thick layer of clouds as a thin layer of fire formed on the edge of the Battek's hull.

(( Riku. :p ))

She shook her head. "It doesn't matter what I should and shouldn't be doing. What matters is that we make it out - dead or alive. In this war, rules have no meaning."

She watched as the Battian caught fire, then turned back to Riku. "I'm going to try to get us out of here. This procedure has worked on my gunship, I don't know if it will work here, but I'll have to try." With that, she slid sideways and to the control panel. Flipping every switch off, she reconnected several wires. She then flipped on the third engine. Then the second. Then the first. She was doing everything backwards, but it seemed to be working, Si'ralle seemed to have regained control over the Battek ship. She pulled the steering lever up, and the ship shot upward. It was loud and hard on the ears, but it was getting them a safe distance from the nullifier. "Get to the cockpit! Make sure the third engine is running right!" Si'ralle ordered over the noise. "I think I know what the problem is!"

Even though the engines were working, they were having a very hard time. It couldn't be running this way for long, otherwise they would burn out. Riku ran to the cockpit, "it's working, but I don't know how much longer these engines can keep doing this!" He shouted over the noise. It was indeed lucky that the Battek had twin dark matter cores to power it, otherwise the engines would have blown long ago.
