Si'ralle turned off the third engine of the Scorpion, taking her headphones off. "She's done for today. Settle her down. I've got some business to take care of in the city." She ordered. People rushed around her and the Scorpion; she had recently been reranked, of higher authority - Battle Commander and Technical Support. She also took care of a technician's job occasionally. It seemed as if these past few days that her emotions became different, less even. She was very serious, and through this higher rank her intelligence also showed. Her head fur, similar to human hair, also grew to past shoulder length. She continued wearing all black, and her wing color had also slowly changed. They now were black, but her down feathers were white. If possible, she was prettier than ever before.

Riku was near the capital's airport, seated on a bench as he waited for something. The silver lightning bolts on his wings cast a large glint on the ground, making it look much bigger than it actually was. Some Lunar Cats gawked at the sight of them; others ran in fear. But Riku didn't seem to care, his mind was focused on something else.

Opening a window, Si'ralle arched her wings - enough to take off. The window was too small for her full wingspan, so she had to wait until she was actually out of the window to extend. In one fluid movement, she took off and extended to her full wingspan. She soared over the city, looking for something.

Riku was too far away to notice. Another female Lunar Cat came up and sat down next to him, trying to flirt as she obviously liked him. He wasn't interested in her, so he just disregarded her and watched as a train slowed down as it entered the airport station.

For the first time in awhile, Si'ralle's voice came on Riku's earpiece: "I'm sorry."

She wasn't standing that far from him, watching him and the other Lunar Cat. "I'm sorry." She repeated, looking away, beginning to walk away.

The other female Lunar Cat had walked away, obviously knowing Riku wasn't interested in her. Riku looked up, "Si'ralle! Why are you apologizing?" His earlier depressed mood seemed to have disappeared at her voice.

Si'ralle looked back at him, her eyes both sad and soft. "Because I left you so suddenly, and have completely neglected you these past weeks." She replied, lowering her head and looking away. She wasn't crying, she was just inable to hold his gaze.

Riku walked over to her, "you couldn't help it, you were sick."

"But what makes you think I'm upset with you about that?"
