The Best Automatic Chicken Door

Thanks for the clarification- I was afraid of that. I have my door on a battery with a trickle charger. But the worst case scenario is to have both my battery fail and the power go out at the same time. Let's hope it never happens!

I have a Pullet Shut door and have had it for three years. I use a battery and the solar charger you get with the door. Have not had any problems so far. The automatic doors are fantastic. I couldn't have chickens without them.
