Mine's black with a red button on top. It has a button that blinks when you've caught one.You flip up the top. Add peanut butter to the far end and turn it on.
I've only had 2 problems with it in the 5+ years I've had it...I caught a neighbour's gerbil and one of the mice caught on fire...eww.
But you don't hafta ta touch the bodies...
