The most laid back... hardly can crow...and the one that will not flog you is ....a banny Cochin rooster...a banny cochin will be the same or maybe a little smaller than a normal hen. The best part is they crow about half as loud as a regular rooster. They are quite and extremely docile. That's my 2 cents. Thanks Poman

I have multiple bantam cochin roosters. I did have one that was meaner than Satan, but as a whole they are a feisty, but mostly behaved breed.

They are beyond cute, but the year I raised two, they decided to try to kill each other, and went to separate homes. Mary

My only roosters that routinely fight are my bantam cochins. They beat each other up, but never anything serious. My birds can get away from each other, otherwise I think it would get bad. They do like fighting.
