Bird you can come with fresh hot bread everyday and I will give you all the eggs you want!!! I love bread, never mind fresh hot homemade. You must have made that mans day and it was a really nice thing to do. I would bring him a little something that you made with his eggs no matter what it is. I have a woman who buys about three dozen a month and she is a bakeaholic, says she loves using my eggs for her baking. It makes me feel good to know that my chickens are contributing to her baking addition!

I'd have to say Sticky Buns.

I have a recipe for Sticky buns that is just awsome. I make it for all the neighbors co-workers, friends and family, esp at X-Mas. Its time consuming but easy fun and rewarding. Makes a 9X13 but I'm sure you can cut it in 1/2 for a 9x9. I'd be happy to e-mail it to you if you don't have a recipe of your own. I think I will post it the BYC recipe forum too today when I get a chance later on.

WOW!! Ya'll are the best!! These are such terrific ideas. I am going to print out these ideas and keep them for future reference.

I have just come home (with a headache) from a LONG day at the circus followed by a long evening at Academy and Gander Mountain with my Dear Husband who is determined to buy just the right rifle that we can both use. I finally told him that it was his hobby that he was passionate about and I would only be along for the ride (mostly)--that all I wanted was about 40 acres and about as many chickens as the caliber of the ammo of the rifle he was about to buy.

Lets see I think I heard him say something about a 223 or a 306 or something like a 243. I think if my dream comes true I will be very busy and I'll be giving eggs away like the guy I am getting them from now.

Oh, I would give a third vote for the peach cobbler. As for the beer, a lot of guys, including my hubby, wouldn't know what the heck to do with beer, lol. I can't remember the last time he had one.

One of his heart meds doesn't let him drink alcohol. Just an opinion.

im 54 and i would like brownies bread mostly any fresh baked goodies.in this day and times it is hard to find someone who can bake.i just came up with the greatest gift. home made bisquites.ever body loves them.i bet it has been years since he had some good old home made bisquites.im hungary now lol
