The chickens are about 3-4 weeks old or so I'd say.
They are getting quite a decent number of feathers now (see: my Pictures thread, although those pictures are a week and a half or two ago).
Here is an example of the weather in my area:

Realistically, if I get the coop done this weekend or in a week and a half or so, should that not be able to make the transition pretty close to right when I get done?

The lowest temperature I see coming up in the next while is 50* at night, but typically it is up closer to 60-65*.
I really think they would make it fine, judging by how all 12 of them pile on top of one another when they sleep.

I've had their brooder lamp off for the majority of the day, and even at night it is no longer directly shining on them at all.
I do not see any signs that this is too cold for them.
Feel free to give me some feedback. I would be grateful for sure!

I moved my chicks out to the coop when they were three weeks, and they are now 4+ weeks and doing fine. I have the heat lamp on for them during the night if the temps are expected to be lower than 70. I guess it depends on how well your coop holds heat, and well feathered the chicks are.

Thank you very much for the insight.
I am trying to get them out there without the dreaded extension cord disaster for 125' or whatever it would be.
Maybe by the time I get done they will all have enough feathers to make it just fine with the house shut up (except for small ventilation).
Hmm...
