My frizzled black crested white Polish turned out to be a hen, so now I have to rethink my breeding. I was going to keep two frizzled roos, but now I have to decide if I want to separate everyone. Here is my 8 week old black crested white. His/her crest has a lot of white, but we will see.

I don't have room to start this project but they are beautiful. I hope some folks continue to work with these.

I've always like these and have been trying to track down a real good lakenvelder or two to try to start my own... Many of them have white bleeding into their hackles now, so won't be easy. Plus I'm looking at the wrong time of year I know people want them to just have the black crest and maybe just the neck, but I actually like the black speckles into the chest feathers myself... Not so plain that way. Very cute. Hopefully in the next year I could start playing with these

Will you go with a Lakenvelder rooster or hen?

put in 10 and 9 candled beautifully!!! great fertilization rate! I will post pics here and the polish tread page!!!

I would surely love to get my hands on some. The 10 birds i got from ideal died within the 1st week
