the black crested white polish project

I'm so glad to read this post! Although I'm not going to get into breeding for this particular color (which I have only ever seen one breeder, EVER, besides this post) I am going to get into breeding polish. I'm going to have a very small program, but so far im very pleased with the two pullets I have (slowly working on getting more). I lucked out with my white crested black and my bearded buff laced. Hatcheries scare me a little. I like to see what I'm buying, and most of the people I've talked to say that in their "straight run" they have gotten 70% roosters.

Any who, I love reading this, and also my favorite what the last picture roo as well.

Hi. I know it's been quite a while since this was last posted on but I was curious as to how this breeding project turned out? What do their offspring look like? Are you still breeding Black Crested Whites? I have a trio with alot of promise...hoping to improve the breed and help establish type. Mine are not perfect but their body type is true to breed, but they do have some color issues.

I have been researching BCW's and would love to start a breeding program of them. Your trio looks VERY promising!

Thank you!!! I will be selling eggs VERY soon! I wanted to hatch them off first and that should happen this weekend!!!
put in 10 and 9 candled beautifully!!! great fertilization rate! I will post pics here and the polish tread page!!!

Is anyone selling I really would like to have white crested black polish..or if you know of a place that sales let me know really would like to here about it.

We started with this color this year. Birds still too young to breed but close. We were amazed that, what we started with as chicks, ended up with black crests on white bodies and mild speckling. We also have one that is 99% white and hadn't changed yet. We will pick the best characteristics and see what we can do, we humbly accept the challenge and attention to a clean blood line. Here's a pic or two, if I can post them.

We hope with our white crested black we can sell "Ying Yang" pairs!

Glad to see someone is still working on them! I've considered it, but I'm not sure if it's above my pay grade, frankly. @kysilkies keep me posted. If you have some success, I may need some pointers down the road!
