The boys have an "appointment"...*pics*

I did that once with a heavy assortment of 50. Don't know what I was thinking since there were only two of us.

How many people in your family?

How much does your processors charge?

Wow, I've never let a roo get to crowing age, but my buddy had two that he just got rid of- "Morning crowing??" Forget about it. Those things would crow back and forth ALL DAY. I can't imagine what 100 of them would sound like!

The big boys dont start really crowing till 5:30 or so, first Tom Thumb my sebright wakes them all up at 5:00 sharp. Tom crows steady all day, the big boys only if they feel like saying something, and then they really pick up again at dusk.

I would try and see if the butcher will save you hackle and saddle feathers. Could probably sell them on ebay for fly tiers.

Its $.055 per lb, or about $2.50 per bird but some of ours are smallish so prolly wont be that much.

I might ask them if they can save some of the hackle and saddle feathers, what a great idea.
