The bread has not been baked!

This morning I will bake our bread. Since starting with chickens 4 weeks now, my family has been starving! Well not literally, but they have complained, "mom you only have time for chickens". The laundry has not been done, the house needs attention.

It's true, my time has been consumed by my chickens, today I will bake the bread.

Yum, home baked bread! Wish our bread maker worked! Chickens are an all consuming obsession for me too. They get away with a lot of shenanigans because they are my babies LOL!

Yep...this is a sign of being chicken obsessed. You will forever have chicken on the brain. While it is not fatal, it will scar you for life. Nothing will get done around the house, the laundry will pile up, the microwave will be the source of all your meals and when the hubby is due home, he will know that all you did was sit and stare at chickens all day. LOL

I too am a chicken addict, so I can spot another one coming a mile away. LOL

And yes, all those things I listed above are the things that go on around here....the lack of housework, the laundry, the low budget meals, LOL so I only assume it can happen in other chicken households as well.
