My babies are exactly 10 weeks old today, I wonder if anyone can help confirm the gender of these chicks

I think these first 3 are boys

I am hoping the second 3 are girls

They all look like hens to me except maybe the first one. I have looked a few times, and nothing really just screams roo unless I am just missing something...

Ah what you don't see in those photos are chickens 1,2 and 3 fighting. Chicken number 2 is twice the size of the others and has grown faster than the others. They may all have araucana in them ans so have no wattles. It would be wonderful if all barring one were hens but I am pessimistic by nature.

But Thanks anyway-it gives me hope

I was thinking the same thing. I have a GLW hen and she always had a large rosecomb that always made me think she was a roo. So maybe the first is a hen also?

I think it is best to wait a while longer when they've grown more and are a little more mature. Then it will be easier to tell. In the meantime, don't let behavior fool you. Hens can be just as aggressive as roosters when they want to be.
