I am planning a future flock; they must be clean legged, non silkied, large fowl, and a reliable broody. Any suggestions??

For the broody part, I'd suggest you talk to breeders for your stock instead of the hatchery chicks, but your criteria screams Orpington to me.

Partridge Rocks. The rest of the rocks don't go broody that often.

I've had three different Buff Orpingtons and not one has attempted to go broody

Barred Rocks!!! My two are ecxellent broodies, great layers and are just great to have around. Very friendly.

I want to add another 10 BR hens for my flock.
