The British Brahma Thread.

On these forums you see that the English and American Orpingtons have their own thread, but there is only One Brahma Thread, I have a friend who imported British Type Brahma in Dark, Light and Partridge. They are HUGE like 3 feet tall(the roosters) they have the V shape backs with huge vulture hocks. I was able to get me a single 2 month old dark male and will be raising him to see how large he gets.

Does anyone here have British Type Brahma?

I don’t have any, but they sound awesome! (So they are slightly bigger than Jersey Giants?)

Ok, thanks! I did not know that is why I asked, and I’ve never even heard of them. Do you have pics of yours?

They take long to grow, just like any other big chicken breed, correct?

Yes, they are Super Slow Growing. I will try to find pics very soon

I only have hens. Hens are about 1.5 - 2ft at most, & 9-10lbs.
