Picked up these young lasses last night. At first didn't think they took the stress of being moved well. All they did was sleep. This morning they were raisin cane. I'm pretty sure I got the heat right, at 90 degrees, as they don't huddle or stay just under the lamp. So far the only concern I have is they don't like the feeder. They eat more from our hand or off a plate than they do from the feeder. Here's some pics.

The chicks are now a week old. Still have all six so we must be doing something right. Their feathers have started and they are now trying to fly. So I put in a roost for em. Funny to watch em climb up and jump on each other.

they're getting bigger so I built a bigger brooder. As I'm not one to just throw things out, Wife says I'm a boarder line hoarder, I recycled a blown up lawn mower. Outside for the first time today. There are at least two roo's in this bunch.

Our chicks are 10 days old. I never thought to give then a ramp! A great idea since they are going into an elevated coop. Thanks!
