Noticed the girls going thru a lot of feed! Setup the game cam and waited. Figured it was crows while I was at work. I was wrong. Got a pic with 4 of the thieves.
Got the trap set up and tied down. Bait will come later. Then wait and see.

For bait, try using large marshmallows. I zip tie an emtpy shallow can (like a tuna can) to the bottom of the trap, and stuff it full of marshmallows. Works every time. You should also pull in your feeders at night - no sense tempting fate by encouraging predators to come around.

No luck last night. I have several pictures of the coons walking around the sprung trap. Bait was gone!

live trapped him with peanut butter. A small one. 3 to go. I put him in the freezer and will skin this weekend. Gonna make me a hat.
I am putting the chicken feeder away at night so as not to tempt fate.
