does anyone know what a silver marans is? i keep seeing that lately. i didn't know they came in that color.

PP: We could start a new trend on BYC... Color Coordinated animals! I am going outside to start taking photos of my kids and their color coordinated partners... umm... maybe not... it is 2:30 in the morning... I think that I am supposed to be sleeping... This late night BYC obsession has got to stop...!

their are splash maran with the blue and black clororings like the other breeds.

What is this? Three East Coasters awake and online on the BYC Crazy Egg Chain and the West Coasters are snoozing on us? (Not you of course PP - you are a loyal watcher.) I think that we even lost Buster.

Splash marans - I think you are right hcammack ... and I actually think that we hatched out a splash this week. I have yet to get a photo. Our little fluff ball is silvery looking with darker markings.

Nuh uh, she's real.

She has a lot of black on her, most blue heelers are all blue with a black mask.
