No. But you will get black/white and brown & whites, no matter what. It's like they are sex-linked brown females. I've gotten brown babies out of black/white parents as well as the other way around. It seems I get mostly brown/whites out of brown white parent birds with one or two blacks in the mix, as well. In addition, the last time I had ducklings out of two black/white adult birds, I got 6 black/white ducklings & two brown/whites. So it's a mix. These should mostly be brown/white babies...since I have three brown/white hens in with my black/white drake. I also have another pen of black/white hens (two of them) and one black/white drake. So those would mostly be black/white babies, with an occasional brown one. If that makes sense? LOL

Okay, I'll clarify another way...

I have FIVE hens, they are all related.

Mrs. Duck-Duck (original, I know) is the mother of all of my others. She is black/white.
1 black/white hen
1 Black/White drake All in one pen

In my other pen, I have:
1 Black/white drake
3 chocolate pied hens

You will get a mix of brown/white (chocolate pieds) out of either pen, as well as chance for black/whites out of either pen. However, the "black pen" will have greater chances of just black/white ducklings and the "brown pen" will have greater chances for the chocolate pied ducklings.

My last hatch was 9 ducklings. Out of the 9, I had two black/whites & 7 chocolate pieds. This was the result of pairings from the "brown pen."

I hope that makes sense? LOL

I want Mrs. Duck Duck's eggs!

Oh I think it will be a while before this thing ends. It may slow down through the summer because of the heat, but it will still go.

Current offer is from Serendipity
Offering Silkies-6 eggs

Just a heads up: The Silkies are from a pen of blue and white silkies. The colors are not separated at this time. If you want to wait 3 weeks - I can separate the little buggers!
