I was just curious because I see a real potential here for some hurt feelings. If someone's trade doesn't get picked up within two or three minutes comments about slowing it up are being made and it could make some want to just say forget it. Maybe no one on at this moment wants eggs for purebred 10 toed duck waddles but someone who is on in 6 hours might. Patience, we don't want to hurt anyone.
I'm not directing it at any one person, I've just scrolled back through the pages and read posts. I know it's fun and everyone is wanting to see what they want pop up, but please, value other's trades you might not be interested in and just wait for someone who is to take it.

Well said. All our valued members deserve a chance to see what is up for grabs and they may not all be here waiting, they might be at work. So a 12 hours window gives tham a chance to pop on during the day if they are looking for something.

One of the nice things about BYC is that we are all such diverse people. That is one reason I made the waiting rule of 24 hours. I agree with Kate. Just because someone doesn't want something within the first 2 or 3 minutes doesn't mean that someone won't see it and want it later, like say when they get home from work. This thread isn't about speed (unless you see something you really want). It's about having fun and trading some cool eggs.

I agree with Buster, there are members who aren't on the board every day or all day (LOL, you know who you are).
Do Polish purebreds of different color parents count as purebreds?
