I tried drawing a dragon a few months back. Its such a fail though. -_- I stopped working on it because of how fail-y it was.

You can do whatever you want, its your picture, be creative!

But, if it were mine, I would do small scales all the way down the body. And larger ones on the stomach. But thats just me.

I can understand why your Mom thought so though, it looks like the picture of the cover. But I'm not saying you copied it though, I can just see why she said that, that's all.
