I was thinking about all the "Special" made-up words we use here on BYC about our ducks, and I thought Maybe we should put together some sort of a list or dictionary. lol. If you can think of any words we use here and what they mean, add them in a reply and I'll add them up here. I've added a couple to get us started (Ones i've seen or made up myself), but you guys can help me alter the meaning if it's not quite right...

AWOL- In reference to ducks- When a flock of ducks spread out over a large area, as if confused or crazy. This is often caused by rainfall.

Bicycle Kicks- The strange way a duck will kick their legs as if riding a bicycle while you carry them.

Chorting- The sound a duck makes when eating fast, whilst sometimes quacking. Also can refer to the sound ducks make when they continue quacking while putting their heads underwater.

Chubble- When a duck places it's beak in your closed hand to either warm it's beak or to dab for whatever goodies you may be holding.

Eggnant- From the word Pregnant, When a female's belly hangs down a bit lower when she is or soon will be laying.

Fiestyroo- (My own word) A name for a duck who continuously kicks while being held.

Plip-plap-plip-plap - the outrageously cute sound of baby duck feet on the kitchen floor

Rain- Not just merely precipitation, but otherwise known as a sort of drug to ducks, much like catnip to cats. Often causes ducks to go bonkers.

Snoogle- The act of snuggling committed by a duck. Examples- When a duck places their head on your shoulder, when a duck ticks it's head under your arm or in a sleeve, etc.

Squack- The sound a baby duck makes when it's voice is changing from peeps (or squeaks) to quacks.

Web footed committee - Group of ducks, or especially drakes, that need to supervise and discuss all activities within view.
