I have some kittens in the barn and have noticed them chowing down on the eggmaker. I never noticed any of the other cats eating it. So, I figured that it might be something lacking in their diets.
I rewormed them and have been giving them scrambled eggs cooked with goats milk as a night time snack. I'm going to give them a week or so and if they are still getting into the chicken food I will just let them have some. They get kitten food, so I thought their diet should be ok.
My lab loves to eat any food that isn't dog food. We call her horse some times because she's the biggest, eats the horse food, eats chick food, and eats a lot of grass. She also grunts when she wants attention.
My cats eat my dog's food, my dog eats my cat's food, and my chickens love horse feed, and go figure my horses will mob me for chicken feed when I try to feed my chickens that live in the converted horse stall. I think they are all species confused. LOL
